Some photos to share

Not much new to report so I'm just mostly sharing photos this time. Oh, for those of you in Seattle, I just wanted to let you know that we won't be coming after all. Jason's company decided that they didn't need his group to come out.

I had considered still traveling out there with the boys but have decided that I don't want to risk Ethan getting an ear infection a week before our trip to England. Jack got an ear infection the first time we took him on an airplane and Ethan has a higher chance of getting them due to the Down's (not that he will, just that he has an increased chance) and I just don't want to take the chance with such a big trip so soon after. So, you will all have to settle for seeing us in April!!!

As you will see from the pictures of the boys playing and hanging out together, they truly enjoy spending time together, as you can see.

Oh, and for those of you who I've been telling my couponing stories too, here are some good finds from this week.

At the drugstore I was able to get everything in this photo for just under $4.00. Not my best deal ever, but it was stuff I needed so it was good.

However, I did a great deal at the grocery store stocking up on cereal and snacks!!!! Here my bill started at just under $50. After coupons the total came to $20.95. Plus, I have a $10 rebate that I'm mailing in - so after that it will only be $10.95 for all this.

Having shopped using coupons for the past 3 months I've realized that there is no good reason to spend more than $2 at most on name brand cereal and that toothpaste shouldn't cost more than a dollar (most of mine have been free or about .25). It's really amazing how much I've saved.

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. I've been continuously changing up our great room bookshelves, so I thought I would post a photo for you to see. If anyone has more ideas on how to make it look better, let me know. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well. Of course, a lot of time he still goofs around, trying to fall off stuff, but for the most part he's pretty good at staying on task. Last week they did the monkey bars and he LOVED it and was

The Olympics

Wow, I can't believe it's been so long since I've last posted a message. I guess it's been due to a combination of being really busy and not having much to say! Is that a contradiction? We've been letting Jack stay up late since Friday so that he could enjoy the Olympics. He really enjoyed the opening ceremony and has been in awe of the gymnastics. We went to a BBQ on Sunday night and just as we were getting ready to leave they put the ladies gymnastics on and all the kids say and watched. We had to drag Jack away. In other news, we're getting ready to do a really crazy thing. After only two months of having no debt and house payment, we're putting in an offer on a new home! We really had no plans to do this, but when we went to visit our friends on Sunday, we decided to drive around and look at the houses there. We had looked in there back before Ethan was born and fell in love with the place so we thought we'd just take a look and see how much i

Last Day in Prague

Our last full day in Prague. We had a late night parting the night before and a very early morning excursion but this was the one I was excited for! We did a similar excursion in Italy and loved it too. This was an awesome city bike tour to the Vysehrad Castle. We stopped for photo ops along the way - including here along the Charles River. But it's all fun and games until someone gets stopped by the Polizia! Before we left on our trip I was told to make sure you stay away from the police, so I was surprised to come up the big steep hill to see Jason stopped by one. I guess our tour guides didn't get the permit to ride in the park (too close to kids and a school). We had all just come up a big steep hill and were separated from the front of our group. Jason stopped to wait for me and the rest of the group to make sure we knew where to go. We had three guides, on leading, one in the middle who pulled away from Jason, and then one at the back.
