Baby #3 Update

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas! I do have Christmas morning photos to upload but I'm trying to enjoy our last couple of days with Jason before he leaves on Saturday. We are having a New Year's Eve party tomorrow with a lot of Jack's friends, so I'll have those photos to add as well. But to keep you going, here are a few. As you can see, the boys visited Santa. Jack LOVED it, Ethan not so much. But we didn't even bother to take Jack his second year, as we knew he wouldn't enjoy it. I think this is a pretty good picture with Ethan, considering how unhappy he was! On Monday we went to have our 20 (+) week ultrasound. We went to see a perinatologist since we opted not to do any genetic testing. I swear, they really want "older" parents to go through the ringer. But they do a more in-depth look at the baby, which is always a good thing. They did spend a lot of time looking at the heart, which concerned us at first, but it was only because th

Merry Christmas Eve...

Sorry I have been so bad at keeping up with the blog, but having Jason home has been so nice I haven't wanted to get online to post anything! Jason made it home safely on Saturday morning and we took off to get our Christmas tree. Jack was so excited to get it and then decorate it. We spent all day decorating and only managed to loose three ornaments. Two by Jack and one by Ethan. Not too bad! I'm not sure if I've told everyone this yet but here are a couple of Ethan updates. About two weeks ago we were talking to Jason on the phone and I had given Ethan my cellphone (we were using the land line) and he put the phone to his ear and said, "Dada I, Dada I." He also kept saying mama all day, which was the first time I heard him say it more than once or twice. He is getting up on his hands and feet a lot. He's not cruising along furniture unless his PT is working with him to do so but she said he might be one who stands first and then starts walking. Know

Getting In the Holiday Spirit

Whew, I feel like I can finally take a bit of a break. I got all the out-of-state gifts wrapped and shipped of today. What a relief. Now I just have to get through Jack's preschool party tomorrow and all the sandwiches I have to make for it!! We spent an extra half hour at Michael's so that Jack could pick out the perfect gift for Ethan and Daddy and everyone else on his list. Here are the photos of our baking weekend. Jack had so much fun and keeps asking when we can make more! We made these as gifts for Ethan's therapists. Jack got an apron in the mail today from Publix Grocery Store, part of their free kids program. Just in time for more baking!! Today for occupational therapy the boys made decorations. Ethan did an excellent job and can now peel off the backs of stickers (once you get it started) all by himself. He had the best time (as did Jack) and Shirley (therapist) said that she couldn't believe how well Ethan did. She said out of all her kids his age
