Happy Thanksgiving

I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving. Ours was low-key but very nice. We started the celebration on Wednesday when Ethan's occupational therapist came and did some crafts with the boys. They made Turkey's out of their foot and hand prints. Ethan LOVES to do crafts and I'm so bad about taking the time to do them with him. Hopefully I will force myself to get better at it, as I know it will only help him. You can see from the photos how much both boys really love sitting up and making things. Maybe I'll start doing afternoon crafts when Wyatt is down for his naps.... As for Thanksgiving Day itself, the day was nice and relaxing and then Ethan fell asleep right before dinner. Once we all sat down to eat, all bets were off. Ethan was content for about 5 minutes (long enough to get this photo) and then he had a meltdown and cried the entire meal -- and had to sit in either mine or Jason's lap. But other than that.... I have to say that I am so thankful for eac

Pictures of the House

I promise to post the few photos I have from our Florida trip last week soon, but we just got our new drapes installed today and I'm so excited to show them off. They turned out better than expected! Now I'm excited to finish the room off with a rug and couch....one day. While we were in Florida, we took a day trip up to St. Augustine. While walking around the town we came across a store that had a bunch of masks. We had so much fun trying them all on, so Jason decided to buy us each one. Maybe one day we'll host a masquerade party (for New Year's Eve perhaps??) but for now I decided to hang them on our bedroom wall. It's such a big wall and so empty. These don't help too much, but it looks better. I am not a big fan of the brown color of our walls. We are planning at some point to add some blue to it, to take away from the harshness, but in the meaning, I also hung up some beautiful mirrors I purchased from the Willow House outlet store on my websi

The Last of the Seattle Trip

Here we go, the last of the photos from our Seattle trip... We got over to visit Grandma Alice and caught her on an especially good day. She enjoyed holding Wyatt while Ethan and Jack played in the room around her. Wyatt really enjoyed his visit with his great-grandmother. We spent some family time downtown Seattle at the Pike Place Market. It was so nice to visit and enjoy all the goodness it had to offer. I miss the days that I worked within walking distance to the market. Check out the cool dude fish! Jack got a hold of the camera and took the photo below. He's getting pretty good at setting up his composition! Ethan and the Pike Place Market pig! The boys with some flowers for Nana and Granddad. I had the pleasure of a girls night with Angie and Janine and her girls. It was nice to have some more time with them and laugh over dinner, as we always do. Plus, Ethan and Wyatt really love Kyla and Morgan. A couple photos of the boys playing at Nana and Granddad's! They l
