Parks, Parks and More Parks

With the party over, now it was time to enjoy our last few days in Seattle doing what we love to do best -- visit parks!   But first, there were cats to play with. And blackberries to pick! Then it was off to all of our favorite parks, staring with Jefferson Park on Beacon Hill. We were lucky to get Auntie Jake and Aunt Yves to join us. Wyatt was able to master a few new toys on the playground. Which, of course, made mom nervous. But he had his big brother to keep up with. Both Jack and Wyatt enjoyed the zip line. Engagement Party

The day we came for finally arrived -- and it was perfect! We started off by heading down to the Des Moines Marina for their Farmer's Market. Perfect weather and beautiful setting filled with so many items. We came home with several bouquets of flowers to spread throughout the house and deck. Normally I take lots of photos of the decor and food and none of the actual party, but this time I was the opposite and took only two pictures of the set up (both of the bar because that was my favorite look) but lots of the guests. And when you have cuties like these, how can you blame me?!? I loved spending so much time with my aunts, uncles, cousins and their kids. I miss them so much being so far away, and it's always so hard to gather everyone in one place while I'm in town. Everyone had a great time. So much family -- I hope my boys loved being around them all, it's so rare for them to have ANY family, let alone so many at once!!
