Merry Christmas

The tree is ready for the boys.  The stockings were so heavy that they had to sit down by the fireplace instead of hang on the mantel.  Looks like Santa came by!  Is that a t-rex holding a rubber band gun???  Good morning boys!  What do you see?  She must be getting old, for once this big bone was too big.  Ethan spotted this toy car garage and made a beeline for it.  Forget opening the stockings, I want to play!  But we eventually got him opening gifts. He did much better this year and actually WANTED to open them.  Playing with their Santa gifts.  These are some happy boys.    Playing with the Pump Rocket that Santa left for the boys.  After breakfast, a shower, and all our family gifts we took a break and then opened gifts from Nana and Granddad with them on the computer, followed by gifts from Grandma Christy.  And then Granny Annie on the phone.  Loving all the toys and gifts!!  On

The Days Before Christmas

 Life with boys...  Love when they play nicely together.  Got the treats ready for the school bus drivers!!  And a fun treat for Jack's class party.  This is how you play when you are a 3 year old boy!  Zombies on an alligator!  Cheese!  The week before Christmas was spent dealing with the flu. It started with Jason, who then snuggled with Wyatt, who then snuggled with me. Wyatt went to the doctor and got on medicine (and Jack and Ethan got preventative meds to keep them from getting it) but Jason and I suffered. It knocked us both out (although luckily at different times) and we each spent two days flat out in bed, unable to do ANYTHING. I resigned myself to the fact that the things I wanted to do before Christmas was not going to happen and just sat back an enjoyed what we could do.  By Monday night we all had cabin fever so we packed up the car and headed north to Cartersville to drive through some Christmas lights and then get out and walk thr
