Big changes!



What a busy day we had! First of all, the trip to the movies was a big success!!! BOTH boys really enjoyed it. I wish I had photos to share. Ethan sat on my lap watching the movie until he fell asleep. He was fighting it though. He kept trying to turn his head to watch even though he was yawning and wanting to put his head on my shoulder. Jack sat for most of it and then got a bit restless. He still watched the whole movie, he just needed to move around a bit. Luckily it was a pretty empty theater.



Today we had a bobcat in the backyard moving dirt around to flatten out an area for the playset and a shed. It looks so great out there and Jack loved watching the tractor scooping and moving the dirt.

Wow... It's so bare. Lots of play space, and I like the gentle slope. It is so different without the trees, but will look great with a shed and big toy and zip line. What a great back yard for Jack and Ethan. - Nana

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town.  We have traveled around the SE for lacrosse tournaments in the past but this year we had the opportunity to travel to Denver, CO for one. I think it was one of my favorite. We tried to make it a family vacation as well, so we traveled in early the day before and spent some time exploring.  We headed down to Rock Park in Castle Rock and did a little hiking.  See that big rock in the background? Yup, the boys climbed all the way to the top. Ethan and I made it to the base of the rock while Jason, Jack and Wyatt climbed up top.  Ethan and I messing around waiting on the other boys.  Photos of the boys up top.  Our first game was an evening game, so we had most of the day to explore and get used to the altitude (which definitely got to the boys once they got on the field). Summer is Lacrosse

 This summer was especially busy for us as Jack played on TWO travel lacrosse teams and Wyatt played his first year on one. We only had one weekend where Jason and Wyatt headed off to Nashville, TN while Jack, Ethan and I stayed here for each of their tournaments.  This was Wyatt's oh-so-happy-to-get-his-photo-taken face before they headed out to Nashville. I just loved the shirt!!  This was the set up we had for Jack's tournament in town. Ethan was happy as a clam with shade and his iPad!!  Jack had a phenomenal first tournament and was directly responsible for almost all the teams goals. He looked awesome and he joked it was because his annoying youngest brother wasn't around.
