Cub Scout Campout

 We had the perfect weather last weekend (upper 70s and sunny) and we made good use of it with the Cub Scout Campout.  Jack and Jason spent the night but the little ones and I joined them during the day.  While at home, Wyatt had fun playing with Jack's tae-kwan-do pads.
 He was so quiet that I had to go in search of him.
 And this is what I found.

 One of the cub scout events was making a rocket and then launching them.

 The little ones high-tailed it to the tent.
 They couldn't stay out of it.
 Guess that means it's time to take all the boys camping.

 We had a lot of down time after the rocket launch so Jack spent lots of it by the water, throwing rocks.

 Jack was soon joined by his pal Bryce.
 And then Wyatt joined in - always wanting to be with the big kids.
 Ethan didn't want to be left out either and we couldn't keep him out of the middle of the volleyball court.  No one seemed to mind him out there and he never got hit by the ball.  He had so much fun.
It was a great weekend and we all came home with sunburns.

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well.  We have traveled around the SE for lacrosse tournaments in the past but this year we had the opportunity to travel to Denver, CO for one. I think it was one of my favorite. We tried to make it a family vacation as well, so we traveled in early the day before and spent some time exploring.  We headed down to Rock Park in Castle Rock and did a little hiking.  See that big rock in the background? Yup, the boys climbed all the way to the top. Ethan and I made it to the base of the rock while Jason, Jack and Wyatt climbed up top.  Ethan and I messing around waiting on the other boys.  Photos of the boys up top.  Our first game was an evening game, so we had most of the day to explore and get used to the altitude (which definitely got to the boys once they got on the field). Summer is Lacrosse

 This summer was especially busy for us as Jack played on TWO travel lacrosse teams and Wyatt played his first year on one. We only had one weekend where Jason and Wyatt headed off to Nashville, TN while Jack, Ethan and I stayed here for each of their tournaments.  This was Wyatt's oh-so-happy-to-get-his-photo-taken face before they headed out to Nashville. I just loved the shirt!!  This was the set up we had for Jack's tournament in town. Ethan was happy as a clam with shade and his iPad!!  Jack had a phenomenal first tournament and was directly responsible for almost all the teams goals. He looked awesome and he joked it was because his annoying youngest brother wasn't around.
