Jack and Ethan spent about 30 minutes one morning playing on Jack's bunkbed. Jack was burying Ethan in his "animal friends" and Ethan was laughing hysterically. Then Jack would pile them up and bury himself underneath them. They did this over and over again and I loved seeing them have so much fun with each other. I hope they continue to play together so well as Ethan get's older.
We were very happy to finally get the playset moved over on Tuesday. Since the old house will soon be sold, we needed to get it moved. It had been so long since Jack played on it that it was like having a brand new toy again. The best part for me is the location. I can see the whole thing out the keeping room windows, and when we open the windows, I'll be able to hear and talk to the boys as well. Much nicer than having it at the back of the yard.
The kids next door were excited to see it too, as they were over here playing tonight. I'm hoping they will be over a lot to play with Jack and help keep him occupied.
The past few nights we've been enjoying quick swims in the pool (it's been in the mid 80s with very low humididty) but with a non-heated pool you can't spend too much time in it without freezing, so we've been playing at the park.

Ethan has changed to become such a little boy these past few weeks. During physical therapy on Tuesday, he was sitting on his knees and playing for the longest time, having a blast. It was so great to see him like this. Then today during speach therapy we officially declared his first word as "up." I thought I had been hearing it for the past few weeks but today Stephaine heard it too and assured me I was hearing it right. Then she was reading him a story with a dog and was saying "woof." Jack said it and then Ethan promptly repeated it too. It's so exciting to see the changes in him.
Adele has been a great help these past two weeks, working with Ethan a lot (when not playing with Jack, which is a full time job in itself). This picture of them shows what a big boy Ethan is; you can definitley see the toddler in him there standing up!
Today was Jack's last day of swimming lessons and his teacher said he's done really well and made lots of progrress. He can move up to the next level when he's ready to take his next set of lessons. Unforuntaly the pool was so cold today that after about 15 minutes he refused to do anything else. Luckily it was just him there so he did get a lot done. But doesn't he look cute there in his swim goggles?
