Holiday Overload

We finished up most of our Christmas shopping on Friday but made the mistake of taking the boys with us. We can get by with Ethan, but you can't sneak anything past Jack. It was tricky, but we finally got it all done. But, boy, was it exhausting.

Granny Annie sent the boys some clothes and the cutest thing was this little Santa outfit that made Ethan look just like a little Elf!

Saturday we went into Atlanta for the Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta's Holiday Party and had the best time! We met so many great kids and their families.

The boys made jingle bell necklaces and Jack did lots of art projects.

SANTA CLAUS!!

We actually got Jack to sit on Santa's lap finally. And then he didn't want to get off. He was happily talking about the Space Shuttle toy he wants for Christmas.

I guess seeing the shuttle launch in Florida in November made a HUGE impression on him.

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. I've been continuously changing up our great room bookshelves, so I thought I would post a photo for you to see. If anyone has more ideas on how to make it look better, let me know. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well. We have traveled around the SE for lacrosse tournaments in the past but this year we had the opportunity to travel to Denver, CO for one. I think it was one of my favorite. We tried to make it a family vacation as well, so we traveled in early the day before and spent some time exploring. We headed down to Rock Park in Castle Rock and did a little hiking. See that big rock in the background? Yup, the boys climbed all the way to the top. Ethan and I made it to the base of the rock while Jason, Jack and Wyatt climbed up top. Summer is Lacrosse

This summer was especially busy for us as Jack played on TWO travel lacrosse teams and Wyatt played his first year on one. We only had one weekend where Jason and Wyatt headed off to Nashville, TN while Jack, Ethan and I stayed here for each of their tournaments. This was Wyatt's oh-so-happy-to-get-his-photo-taken face before they headed out to Nashville. I just loved the shirt!! This was the set up we had for Jack's tournament in town. Ethan was happy as a clam with shade and his iPad!! Jack had a phenomenal first tournament and was directly responsible for almost all the teams goals.
