Cornwell Weekend Update

Friday Jack had his first dentist appointment to make sure his teeth didn't get too messed up when he busted open his lip. He did fantastic there, even with them putting tools into his mouth. I think it was because Daddy was with him and not Mommy! They said everything looked good but to keep our eye on things. He'll go back in January for a cleaning and another check.

Sunday was our neighbor's annual Turkey Fry! There were about eight families there from the neighborhood and we had a very late night partying with everyone.

Jack had the best time playing with all the kids.

Ethan enjoyed all the cuddling and loving he got from all the gals, while all the men enjoyed the football and the turkey!

There were more kids than chairs at the table - plus two little ones under the age of one!

Ethan made fast friends with the twins, Elizabeth and Coleen, from the front of the neighborhood. In fact, when we left, Ethan reached out for Coleen and gave her a big love! I now know where to take Ethan when I need a babysitter (or two!!).

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. I've been continuously changing up our great room bookshelves, so I thought I would post a photo for you to see. If anyone has more ideas on how to make it look better, let me know. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well. We have traveled around the SE for lacrosse tournaments in the past but this year we had the opportunity to travel to Denver, CO for one. I think it was one of my favorite. We tried to make it a family vacation as well, so we traveled in early the day before and spent some time exploring. We headed down to Rock Park in Castle Rock and did a little hiking. See that big rock in the background? Yup, the boys climbed all the way to the top. Ethan and I made it to the base of the rock while Jason, Jack and Wyatt climbed up top. Summer is Lacrosse

This summer was especially busy for us as Jack played on TWO travel lacrosse teams and Wyatt played his first year on one. We only had one weekend where Jason and Wyatt headed off to Nashville, TN while Jack, Ethan and I stayed here for each of their tournaments. This was Wyatt's oh-so-happy-to-get-his-photo-taken face before they headed out to Nashville. I just loved the shirt!! This was the set up we had for Jack's tournament in town. Ethan was happy as a clam with shade and his iPad!! Jack had a phenomenal first tournament and was directly responsible for almost all the teams goals.
