I love this picture of Jack and Wyatt sitting up at the counter, as this is always how I imagined the boys sitting and doing homework or eating. Jack got a tablet for Christmas so he's sitting up there playing on his while Wyatt, trying to be just like Jack, is sitting up there using the family tablet.
Our Christmas turkey wishbone! Jack, as the oldest, got to choose who he wanted to pull on it with him.
No surprise that he chose Wyatt. Wyatt got the bigger piece and Jack was not happy.
Wyatt certainly can amuse himself while his brothers are at school. We got the Star Wars Operation game last year and Jack brought it out over the holidays and Wyatt has been obsessed ever since.
He gets up at the table and pulls the pieces out - you just have to make sure he puts the pieces back.
This kid cracks me up! I looked over to find him one morning sitting in the ottoman box playing with the tablet.
Wyatt's new obsession is the Angry Birds Star Wars game. He loves to play it on the tablet and now he has the Jenga game. He's pretty good at it too!
As most of you know, we've had a rough few days with our dogs. Stanley has been dealing with tumors for quite while now and last Friday I was sure it was the end. He hadn't been eating much and every time he drank water he would spit it up. Then Friday he went outside and wouldn't come in until late in the afternoon. He just curled up in the woods and didn't move all day. We eventually got him to the vet and we're treating him for sever dehydration and helping him eat more easily. He doesn't seem very happy so I'm not sure how long he will be with us, so I got a few pictures of the boys with him.
Not sure why this picture is out of place but I can't move it.
Other big news for us is that Wyatt got his big boy bed this past weekend. He seems to really enjoy it. The first day he napped in it I found him in his fort (the little area behind the dresser under the bed) curled up sleeping. It was so cute!
Last but not least we are dealing with our second sick puppy dog. We had been so focused on Stanley that we didn't get Amber to the vet until about a week after we thought she might have broken her toe. Unfortunately, it turns out that is is actually bone cancer. She had one of her toes amputated yesterday and we are trying to keep her (and Stanley) as comfortable as possible for as long as we have them with us.
