All Wyatt, All The Time

This post seems to be mostly photos of Wyatt.  I guess that's because it's mostly him and I these days with the two older ones off at school.  I'm happy that I've had one on one time with each of them, since there was a good eight months of preschool for Jack before Wyatt joined our family that I could spend with just Ethan.  I sure do enjoy these boys, even if they run me ragged most days!
Wyatt is all about food these days -- if you've got it he wants to try it.  He may end up spitting it out but at least he'll give it a try.  Oh how I miss these days with the other two - they are so picky and Ethan has all but given up eating dinner altogether.  I know one day they will be teenage boys who will eat me out of house and home and I'll say, remember when...I guess as mother's we're always concerned with one thing or another.

The dogs have gotten so much better with each child that has come into the home.  Stanley is the most tolerant, especially with Wyatt.  From the look on Amber's face, you can tell she's not quite the same.
I couldn't resist this little gift for Jason when I saw it.
Some days Wyatt just cracks me up.  Here he is "riding" Jason's stuffed hippo from when he was a child.  Wyatt was scooting around on this from room to room - it was so cute.

Wyatt is such the little boy - always playing in the water and throwing rocks.  Here he enjoys the best of both and turning our birdbath into a red clay muddy mess (and himself in the process)!
But I love to see him exploring and enjoying himself.
We've had the tummy bug for about a week or so around here and Wyatt had really taken to banana's for awhile.  It took Jack until he was almost three before he would hold banana's the right way - someone tell Wyatt to stop trying to grow up so fast, I feel like I'm missing out on his being a baby/toddler.
Recognize that smile?  He really is a mini-Jack!
And such a big boy - insisting on sitting at the table and feeding himself.
I can't believe he isn't even two yet...not much longer but I feel like he's growing up too fast.
Love this little guy!

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. I've been continuously changing up our great room bookshelves, so I thought I would post a photo for you to see. If anyone has more ideas on how to make it look better, let me know. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well. Of course, a lot of time he still goofs around, trying to fall off stuff, but for the most part he's pretty good at staying on task. Last week they did the monkey bars and he LOVED it and was...
We have traveled around the SE for lacrosse tournaments in the past but this year we had the opportunity to travel to Denver, CO for one. I think it was one of my favorite. We tried to make it a family vacation as well, so we traveled in early the day before and spent some time exploring.  We headed down to Rock Park in Castle Rock and did a little hiking.  See that big rock in the background? Yup, the boys climbed all the way to the top. Ethan and I made it to the base of the rock while Jason, Jack and Wyatt climbed up top.  Ethan and I messing around waiting on the other boys.  Photos of the boys up top.  Our first game was an evening game, so we had most of the day to explore and get used to the altitude (which definitely got to the boys once they got on the field). The fun part of having good friends on the same lacrosse team is you get to explore together. We all drove up to Red Rocks to expl...

Summer is Lacrosse

This summer was especially busy for us as Jack played on TWO travel lacrosse teams and Wyatt played his first year on one. We only had one weekend where Jason and Wyatt headed off to Nashville, TN while Jack, Ethan and I stayed here for each of their tournaments.  This was Wyatt's oh-so-happy-to-get-his-photo-taken face before they headed out to Nashville. I just loved the shirt!!  This was the set up we had for Jack's tournament in town. Ethan was happy as a clam with shade and his iPad!!  Jack had a phenomenal first tournament and was directly responsible for almost all the teams goals. He looked awesome and he joked it was because his annoying youngest brother wasn't around. Boys!  Just a few shots of Jack playing.  Summer also means supporting our local professional field lacrosse team, The Atlanta Blaze. Jack and his buddy Zac had the privilege of working with the team's head coach through the local youth Thund...
