Last Days of Fun In the Sun

We've been enjoying the last couple weeks of good weather by spending a lot of time outside.  Jason decided to start putting in some steps up to our firepit area, which we want to flatten at some point.  I think we're going to hire someone to finish it but for now it makes it a bit more accessible.
Wyatt was enjoying running around the yard and then falling down.  He cracks me up sometimes.

I love this photo of the boys; sitting on the couch, eating breakfast and watching TV.
Wyatt enjoying his first powdered sugar doughnut.

He loved it and couldn't get enough.
Jack's kindergarten class has a Clifford the Dog that comes home with each child for three days to be a part of your family.  You then take photos and document in in the class folder.  Here is how Clifford spent time with Jack.  It was Grandma's last day with us so we had to take a photo of them together.
And of course they had to play Legos together.

Then it was off to bed....

Wyatt climbs up on everything - including Daddy.

Of course some Wii playing had to happen with Clifford.
But then Wyatt found Clifford and it was love at first sight.
Out of all our boys, Wyatt plays the most with our dogs, and they play back with him too.  Probably because they've resigned themselves to the fact that the kids are going anywhere so we might as well play with them.  That and because Wyatt tends to feed them his food.
Wyatt is all boy.  He loves anything cars, trucks or trains and if he sees a ball he'll either hit it, kick it or throw it.
 Look at that face!
 And that one!

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. I've been continuously changing up our great room bookshelves, so I thought I would post a photo for you to see. If anyone has more ideas on how to make it look better, let me know. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well. Of course, a lot of time he still goofs around, trying to fall off stuff, but for the most part he's pretty good at staying on task. Last week they did the monkey bars and he LOVED it and was

The Olympics

Wow, I can't believe it's been so long since I've last posted a message. I guess it's been due to a combination of being really busy and not having much to say! Is that a contradiction? We've been letting Jack stay up late since Friday so that he could enjoy the Olympics. He really enjoyed the opening ceremony and has been in awe of the gymnastics. We went to a BBQ on Sunday night and just as we were getting ready to leave they put the ladies gymnastics on and all the kids say and watched. We had to drag Jack away. In other news, we're getting ready to do a really crazy thing. After only two months of having no debt and house payment, we're putting in an offer on a new home! We really had no plans to do this, but when we went to visit our friends on Sunday, we decided to drive around and look at the houses there. We had looked in there back before Ethan was born and fell in love with the place so we thought we'd just take a look and see how much i

Last Day in Prague

Our last full day in Prague. We had a late night parting the night before and a very early morning excursion but this was the one I was excited for! We did a similar excursion in Italy and loved it too. This was an awesome city bike tour to the Vysehrad Castle. We stopped for photo ops along the way - including here along the Charles River. But it's all fun and games until someone gets stopped by the Polizia! Before we left on our trip I was told to make sure you stay away from the police, so I was surprised to come up the big steep hill to see Jason stopped by one. I guess our tour guides didn't get the permit to ride in the park (too close to kids and a school). We had all just come up a big steep hill and were separated from the front of our group. Jason stopped to wait for me and the rest of the group to make sure we knew where to go. We had three guides, on leading, one in the middle who pulled away from Jason, and then one at the back.
