Moving Day

Today we moved from one apartment to another, bigger suite.

Here are a few photos of Ethan playing outside the old place and then him coloring with Jack and Nana. He's got the right idea, he just needs to press a little harder!

Last night Jack took Froggie Sunglasses and Fishy Swim out to "the tower" to lay on the lounge chairs and watch the ocean with him. The photo below is a view of the beach looking down towards the pier.

Granddad joined Jack and his animal friends.

Moving day! Jack was supposed to be helping push both of these carts but it looks like he got the ride instead.

Ethan playing in his new bigger room!

We took the boys to the Saturday Farmers Market today to check out the fresh produce. It was amazing what they had and the great prices. I'm going to have to find one close to the house back home.

After vising the market we walked across the street to the park to let the boys play for a bit.

They both had fun and Ethan especially liked the slide.

Nana even got him to walk a bit - even though he still doesn't want to bend his knees. That is what we're focusing on with him these next few weeks, walking. He wants to so badly and you can see that it's coming along.

For lunch, we headed down to the boardwalk for a corndog and to play some games. You can see below that Jack is playing skiball quiet well these days. He can really put his arm into it!

This is Jack's loot that he got with all his tickets.

We then headed down to the beach for the afternoon and finally got Ethan down there. Ethan had so much fun that I had to give him an early bath. He was literally covered in sand from head to toe. But was very happy.

After getting out of the tub and dressed, I find Ethan in the kitchen playing with a shopping bag over his head. Next thing I know, Jack is doing the same. These boys love each other so much, they have to be together and play together and do the same thing. They can't stand it if one is doing something the other isn't.

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. I've been continuously changing up our great room bookshelves, so I thought I would post a photo for you to see. If anyone has more ideas on how to make it look better, let me know. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well. Of course, a lot of time he still goofs around, trying to fall off stuff, but for the most part he's pretty good at staying on task. Last week they did the monkey bars and he LOVED it and was...
We have traveled around the SE for lacrosse tournaments in the past but this year we had the opportunity to travel to Denver, CO for one. I think it was one of my favorite. We tried to make it a family vacation as well, so we traveled in early the day before and spent some time exploring.  We headed down to Rock Park in Castle Rock and did a little hiking.  See that big rock in the background? Yup, the boys climbed all the way to the top. Ethan and I made it to the base of the rock while Jason, Jack and Wyatt climbed up top.  Ethan and I messing around waiting on the other boys.  Photos of the boys up top.  Our first game was an evening game, so we had most of the day to explore and get used to the altitude (which definitely got to the boys once they got on the field). The fun part of having good friends on the same lacrosse team is you get to explore together. We all drove up to Red Rocks to expl...

Summer is Lacrosse

This summer was especially busy for us as Jack played on TWO travel lacrosse teams and Wyatt played his first year on one. We only had one weekend where Jason and Wyatt headed off to Nashville, TN while Jack, Ethan and I stayed here for each of their tournaments.  This was Wyatt's oh-so-happy-to-get-his-photo-taken face before they headed out to Nashville. I just loved the shirt!!  This was the set up we had for Jack's tournament in town. Ethan was happy as a clam with shade and his iPad!!  Jack had a phenomenal first tournament and was directly responsible for almost all the teams goals. He looked awesome and he joked it was because his annoying youngest brother wasn't around. Boys!  Just a few shots of Jack playing.  Summer also means supporting our local professional field lacrosse team, The Atlanta Blaze. Jack and his buddy Zac had the privilege of working with the team's head coach through the local youth Thund...
