Finally Home from North Carolina

With heavy hearts, we left Daddy and North Carolina yesterday. It was such a great trip ... now we have to settle back into our old routine that is new (new days for therapies and gymnastics plus preschool starts in two weeks!).

Here are a few photos of our trip. I have close to 300 so it will take several days to get them all posted. Enjoy....

Jack and Ethan LOVED playing on the bed. We called it the Fall Back On The Bed game, as Ethan would get on it and just fall backward, then roll over and do it again. And, yes, he did fall off the bed once (hitting his head on the wall before hitting the floor), he is so quick! But he loved it and was begging to get back up soon after falling.

For our 10 year anniversary we headed into Raleigh for dinner. Of course, it rained the whole time we were there. There wasn't much there to see, so this is us in front of a map of Raleigh - just to prove we were indeed there.

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. I've been continuously changing up our great room bookshelves, so I thought I would post a photo for you to see. If anyone has more ideas on how to make it look better, let me know. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well.  We have traveled around the SE for lacrosse tournaments in the past but this year we had the opportunity to travel to Denver, CO for one. I think it was one of my favorite. We tried to make it a family vacation as well, so we traveled in early the day before and spent some time exploring.  We headed down to Rock Park in Castle Rock and did a little hiking.  See that big rock in the background? Yup, the boys climbed all the way to the top. Summer is Lacrosse

 This summer was especially busy for us as Jack played on TWO travel lacrosse teams and Wyatt played his first year on one. We only had one weekend where Jason and Wyatt headed off to Nashville, TN while Jack, Ethan and I stayed here for each of their tournaments.  This was Wyatt's oh-so-happy-to-get-his-photo-taken face before they headed out to Nashville. I just loved the shirt!!  This was the set up we had for Jack's tournament in town. Ethan was happy as a clam with shade and his iPad!!  Jack had a phenomenal first tournament and was directly responsible for almost all the teams goals. He looked awesome and he joked it was because his annoying youngest brother wasn't around.
