Fall Fun

Fall with the Cornwell's...

I enjoyed a fun afternoon out with my girlfriends creating a fall/winter project.

Power tools, paining and friendship.

It doesn't get better than that.
Our scarecrows.

And snowmen on the other side.

The boys got creative themselves and made a skateboard ramp for the finger boards.

Ethan LOVES reading and we make him do it as often as possible at home.

My fun fall tablescape.

Fall decor around the house.

It took me awhile to find the perfect spot for him in the house. I tried the front porch but it just didn't look right so he came inside.

I already had too much going on outside.

Jack and his buddy made a fort in the family room to sleep in during a sleepover.

Bandit and Wyatt enjoyed it too.

We headed up to the skating rink for one day during our Fall Break week off school.

It had been awhile and it showed with Wyatt. I think we need to be a bit more regular at the rink so he can master skating.

But Ethan LOVED the climbing area and got brave this time and made his way all over it. Didn't come out once!

Fun was definitely had by all.

Then Jason and I escaped down to Miami for a week long cruise with our friends. A much needed vacation together.

The day we came back was the school Color Run, which Wyatt REALLY wanted to attend.
He went with our neighbors while Jason and I took the grandma's to watch Jack's lacrosse game. Then we headed to pick Wyatt up.

We were headed out to eat with this very colorful guy!

Ethan didn't go to the run this year but he sure enjoyed being there to see friends while we collected Wyatt.

Then it was time to say good bye to the Grandma's.

The boys loved having them there for the week and Jason and I really appreciated them coming in to watch the boys while we cruised.

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. I've been continuously changing up our great room bookshelves, so I thought I would post a photo for you to see. If anyone has more ideas on how to make it look better, let me know. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well. Of course, a lot of time he still goofs around, trying to fall off stuff, but for the most part he's pretty good at staying on task. Last week they did the monkey bars and he LOVED it and was

The Olympics

Wow, I can't believe it's been so long since I've last posted a message. I guess it's been due to a combination of being really busy and not having much to say! Is that a contradiction? We've been letting Jack stay up late since Friday so that he could enjoy the Olympics. He really enjoyed the opening ceremony and has been in awe of the gymnastics. We went to a BBQ on Sunday night and just as we were getting ready to leave they put the ladies gymnastics on and all the kids say and watched. We had to drag Jack away. In other news, we're getting ready to do a really crazy thing. After only two months of having no debt and house payment, we're putting in an offer on a new home! We really had no plans to do this, but when we went to visit our friends on Sunday, we decided to drive around and look at the houses there. We had looked in there back before Ethan was born and fell in love with the place so we thought we'd just take a look and see how much i

Last Day in Prague

Our last full day in Prague. We had a late night parting the night before and a very early morning excursion but this was the one I was excited for! We did a similar excursion in Italy and loved it too. This was an awesome city bike tour to the Vysehrad Castle. We stopped for photo ops along the way - including here along the Charles River. But it's all fun and games until someone gets stopped by the Polizia! Before we left on our trip I was told to make sure you stay away from the police, so I was surprised to come up the big steep hill to see Jason stopped by one. I guess our tour guides didn't get the permit to ride in the park (too close to kids and a school). We had all just come up a big steep hill and were separated from the front of our group. Jason stopped to wait for me and the rest of the group to make sure we knew where to go. We had three guides, on leading, one in the middle who pulled away from Jason, and then one at the back.
