We had some really pretty weather while we were in Seattle, which is very lucky because June in Seattle is usually wet and cool. We were also lucky that Jason had to do some work up in Everett (north of Seattle) so we got to enjoy a couple days with him between his travels.
We took a sunny Saturday and headed to Dash Point State Park.
When we got there the tide was way out.
At first Ethan was really scared of the water.
But it didn't take him long to start walking in and out, enjoying the water and the sand.
He was pretty brave and went out quite far (luckily it was flat and didn't get too deep).
Looking over towards Gig Harbor.
We didn't bring swimsuits but that didn't stop the boys from wanting to get in.
What is Daddy doing?
Catching a fish with his bare hands!
I loved seeing Ethan so free and having so much fun in the water.
Then it was time for playing in the sand.
Jack and Wyatt built a cool Fort.
And Ethan just enjoyed playing in the sand.
By the time we left the tide had really come in.
The boys had fun and stayed cool, a perfect afternoon.
