Thanksgiving

 We had a fairly quiet Thanksgiving break, most of us were sick at times, but it was nice being altogether for a week.
 Wyatt has taken over Jack's place in helping me in the kitchen. Here he is helping me make the pumpkin pie, which unfortunately he didn't enjoy in the end.
 Here we are getting ready to sit down and enjoy dinner - all except for Ethan, who still only eats very select foods. Oh well, at least he didn't fall asleep at dinnertime like he has the past couple of years.

 It has become our tradition to start decorating for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving and this year both Jack and Wyatt wanted to help!!

 I needed to have the pumpkins off the front porch moved so I could put out the Christmas decorations so Jason and Jack too them off somewhere to smash them.



They seemed to have a lot of fun!!  Now, let's get ready for Christmas!!

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. The Olympics

Wow, I can't believe it's been so long since I've last posted a message. I guess it's been due to a combination of being really busy and not having much to say! Is that a contradiction? We've been letting Jack stay up late since Friday so that he could enjoy the Olympics. He really enjoyed the opening ceremony and has been in awe of the gymnastics. We went to a BBQ on Sunday night and just as we were getting ready to leave they put the ladies gymnastics on and all the kids say and watched. We had to drag Jack away. In other news, we're getting ready to do a really crazy thing. After only two months of having no debt and house payment, we're putting in an offer on a new home! We really had no plans to do this, but when we went to visit our friends on Sunday, we decided to drive around and look at the houses there. We had looked in there back before Ethan was born and fell in love with the place so we thought we'd just take a look and see how much i

Last Day in Prague

Our last full day in Prague. We had a late night parting the night before and a very early morning excursion but this was the one I was excited for! We did a similar excursion in Italy and loved it too. This was an awesome city bike tour to the Vysehrad Castle. We stopped for photo ops along the way - including here along the Charles River. But it's all fun and games until someone gets stopped by the Polizia! Before we left on our trip I was told to make sure you stay away from the police, so I was surprised to come up the big steep hill to see Jason stopped by one. I guess our tour guides didn't get the permit to ride in the park (too close to kids and a school). We had all just come up a big steep hill and were separated from the front of our group. Jason stopped to wait for me and the rest of the group to make sure we knew where to go. We had three guides, on leading, one in the middle who pulled away from Jason, and then one at the back.
