Kids Being Silly

Just a few photos from the past couple days of the boys.  I was able to catch Wyatt and Ethan playing together.
Wyatt LOVES this ride on toy and the other day Ethan decided to push and pull him around the house on it.  Of course, Wyatt found this highly amusing and was laughing hysterically.
I love seeing them playing together instead of taking toys away from each other.
Jack received this crazy Dr. Seuss hat as part of his rewards for the Fun Run pledges and we all had a lot of fun wearing it around the house.  I really liked wearing it but every time I put it on, Wyatt would pull it off.
One of Wyatt's new things is to put things over his head (hats, towels, etc.) and walk around the house, trying not to run into anything.

We couldn't keep him from pulling it down over his eyes.
Daddy being silly - I love this picture!
 Ethan's turn.

How sweet is that face!  He's talking so much more these days.  He loves his alphabet and will normally say them with you - or identify them.  He's also working on his shapes!

 Ever the entertainer!

This photo was taken by Jack.  I was trying to get him to get a shot of Wyatt "helping" me vacuum but as soon as Jack grabbed the camera Wyatt dropped the bag.  He was using Jack's rolling backpack to vacuum like me - we were both pushing our vacuums under the couch.  It was so cute.
Ethan has OT and PT on Tuesday's from 12p - 2p at the horse farm down the road and it falls over Wyatt's nap.  Sometimes I'm lucky enough to have Jason home so I can leave Wyatt napping while we're gone, but mostly I have to take him along.  Of course he loves being there to see the horses and play on the playground but he can't make it without a nap.  Yesterday he fell asleep right before dinner.  I'm not sure how long he was asleep for but isn't he cute?
Just a little glimpse into our day to day life...hope you enjoy it.

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. I've been continuously changing up our great room bookshelves, so I thought I would post a photo for you to see. If anyone has more ideas on how to make it look better, let me know. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well. Of course, a lot of time he still goofs around, trying to fall off stuff, but for the most part he's pretty good at staying on task. Last week they did the monkey bars and he LOVED it and was

The Olympics

Wow, I can't believe it's been so long since I've last posted a message. I guess it's been due to a combination of being really busy and not having much to say! Is that a contradiction? We've been letting Jack stay up late since Friday so that he could enjoy the Olympics. He really enjoyed the opening ceremony and has been in awe of the gymnastics. We went to a BBQ on Sunday night and just as we were getting ready to leave they put the ladies gymnastics on and all the kids say and watched. We had to drag Jack away. In other news, we're getting ready to do a really crazy thing. After only two months of having no debt and house payment, we're putting in an offer on a new home! We really had no plans to do this, but when we went to visit our friends on Sunday, we decided to drive around and look at the houses there. We had looked in there back before Ethan was born and fell in love with the place so we thought we'd just take a look and see how much i

Last Day in Prague

Our last full day in Prague. We had a late night parting the night before and a very early morning excursion but this was the one I was excited for! We did a similar excursion in Italy and loved it too. This was an awesome city bike tour to the Vysehrad Castle. We stopped for photo ops along the way - including here along the Charles River. But it's all fun and games until someone gets stopped by the Polizia! Before we left on our trip I was told to make sure you stay away from the police, so I was surprised to come up the big steep hill to see Jason stopped by one. I guess our tour guides didn't get the permit to ride in the park (too close to kids and a school). We had all just come up a big steep hill and were separated from the front of our group. Jason stopped to wait for me and the rest of the group to make sure we knew where to go. We had three guides, on leading, one in the middle who pulled away from Jason, and then one at the back.
