The Boys

The blog site has changed so it's going to take me a bit to get used to the new layouts.  Until then, I hope you just enjoy these photos of the boys.
Wyatt wants to be just like his big brothers and copies everything they do!  Here I was watering the front yard when Jack came home from school one afternoon and these two decide to run through the sprinklers together.
You can see Wyatt wanting to do everything that Jack is doing.

Here he is trying to walk down the front yard like Jack, but he goes down on his belly because he's not stable enough on his feet to walk down.

 They had so much fun!
And got so messy - covered from head to toe in wet grass!
They both jumped into the bathtub immediately after these photos.
Jack has really been enjoying school.  He comes home everyday wanting to do his "homework."  He told me that he didn't really have homework but that he wants to do work anyway.   Here is made this dog all on his own.  He cut all the pieces out and taped them together and it looks really good.
Wyatt loves to spend time with Ethan, even when Ethan is in time out (usually for hitting him or taking one of his toys away from him).
Now that Jason's shoulder has gotten better he has decided that he wants to start hunting with a bow and arrow.  And, of course, he had to get one for Jack so they could do it together.
 Jack is loving it.
And so do his neighborhood friends!

Jack has gotten pretty good too.  He can now hit the deer target in the heart.

Jason took Jack to his first rodeo this fall and they had the best time.  Jack had to get a cowboy hat so that he could fit in with everyone else.
And here is my troublemaker.  This one is ALL BOY.  Here he dragged the chair over so that he could climb up so that he could get whatever was on the side table.

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. I've been continuously changing up our great room bookshelves, so I thought I would post a photo for you to see. If anyone has more ideas on how to make it look better, let me know. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well. Of course, a lot of time he still goofs around, trying to fall off stuff, but for the most part he's pretty good at staying on task. Last week they did the monkey bars and he LOVED it and was...

Master Closet Overhaul

We have this ridiculously large walk-in closet in our master bedroom and over time it has been overtaken with STUFF. So I decided I was tired of looking at the mess and it was time to clean it out and up.  Take a look...  I can't believe it went from this... To this!  I love walking in here now and actually find myself looking for reasons to go into my closet.  Along with just weeding out old clothes and items I no longer wore or needed (you should see the pile of stuff that was donated!) I made some changes to the room too.   One of them was my shoe racks. I've long wanted a tall shoe rack to go alongside the built in shelves but I knew it would never get off my husband's to-do list so I took matters into my own hands!!  It's not exactly what I had envisioned but it works and I'm happy with it. Thanks Target for the shelves.  Over the past few years I have developed a deep love for scarves and now own several....
We have traveled around the SE for lacrosse tournaments in the past but this year we had the opportunity to travel to Denver, CO for one. I think it was one of my favorite. We tried to make it a family vacation as well, so we traveled in early the day before and spent some time exploring.  We headed down to Rock Park in Castle Rock and did a little hiking.  See that big rock in the background? Yup, the boys climbed all the way to the top. Ethan and I made it to the base of the rock while Jason, Jack and Wyatt climbed up top.  Ethan and I messing around waiting on the other boys.  Photos of the boys up top.  Our first game was an evening game, so we had most of the day to explore and get used to the altitude (which definitely got to the boys once they got on the field). The fun part of having good friends on the same lacrosse team is you get to explore together. We all drove up to Red Rocks to expl...
