Pictures of the House

I promise to post the few photos I have from our Florida trip last week soon, but we just got our new drapes installed today and I'm so excited to show them off. They turned out better than expected! Now I'm excited to finish the room off with a rug and couch....one day.




While we were in Florida, we took a day trip up to St. Augustine. While walking around the town we came across a store that had a bunch of masks. We had so much fun trying them all on, so Jason decided to buy us each one. Maybe one day we'll host a masquerade party (for New Year's Eve perhaps??) but for now I decided to hang them on our bedroom wall. It's such a big wall and so empty. These don't help too much, but it looks better.



I am not a big fan of the brown color of our walls. We are planning at some point to add some blue to it, to take away from the harshness, but in the meaning, I also hung up some beautiful mirrors I purchased from the Willow House outlet store on my website, http://ellencornwell.willowhouse.com

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. Last Days of Summer Vacation

I'm back...it's been a crazy past few weeks but then what's new. We were dealing with tummy issues for the boys last week and after spending each cleaning up the messes all I could bring myself to do at night was lay on the couch! On top of that, I've been working out 3 days a week for an hour and a half at a time and that has been wearing me out. Oh, and I've started a new business selling Willow House so my free time has been limited. But I've been enjoying it and a happy mama makes for a happy family! Now we're enjoying our last day of summer vacation before Jack starts Pre-K tomorrow, which is the equivalent to what kindergarten was for me back in the day. Jack is excited to get back to school and see his friends and learn "big kid stuff," and I'm excited to get our routine started for the school year. My Week

 Jason left last Saturday (the 4th) for his two week Army Annual Training and we sent him off with a nighttime treat before he left.  I love this photo of my boys, as they all look so happy and the small ones look so grown up - especially Ethan.  We couldn't pry that cup of frozen yogurt away from him!!  And, as usual, when Jason leaves all hell breaks loose.  Tuesday night we were all getting ready for bed and I was getting Ethan and Wyatt out of the bathtub when Wyatt slipped and banged his chin on the edge.  Normally Wyatt gets out first but this time I got Ethan and that just drove him crazy.  He was jumping up and down and as soon as I told him to stop he slipped.  I thought he had just cut his lip or his gums as I only saw blood but then he titled his head up and I saw his chin - too much of the inside of the chin.  I got him dried off, and kept a washcloth to his chin but knew I needed to get him to the ER.  But the last th...
