I will admit there are days when I feel low, dealing with a child who still needs help walking, eating, dressing and communicating, but then I look at these faces, almost always smiling at me, and think, how lucky am I to have these wonderful, beautiful boys in my life. I truly am blessed!
Up until a few days ago we had been enjoying the company of Granny Annie. The boys LOVED having her here to play with them constantly, and I enjoyed the extra set of hands to help take the pressure off entertaining them while I took care of a still-recovering Jason. And can I just say how exhausted I am...three young boys and a disabled Daddy is a LOT of work.
But I look at these boys and how far they are each progressing and it makes everything worthwhile! Jack is progressing really well at school, Ethan is now taking 5+ steps independently, and Wyatt is pushing to a sit and now trying to stand up on his own. Before I know it they will all be out of the house and I'll be missing these precious times with them.
I'm so proud of my boys and so thankful that they were each brought into my life to teach me something....
