Easter Weekend with Daddy - Part 2


I still have more Easter pics to add but I'm being pressured to post what I've got so far!! This is from the Baptist Church where Jack goes to preschool. It was huge and very well run. We all had a blast. They had big bouncies, a slide (the shark shown here), lots of crafts and egg hunts every 15 minutes divided up by age group. We ran into a few friends and one of Jack's teachers, so he was very happy!


















Ethan was just so cute in these photos that I couldn't help but post them all.

We finally have Jason's neck surgery scheduled for Tuesday, May 25th up at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington, DC. It will be an interesting trip to get us all up there with a newborn. Luckily, Mom will be here to travel up with us and help keep the boys occupied while Jason goes through the surgery. Then Christy will hopefully join us there and drive back to Atlanta with us, while Mom flies home.

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well. The Olympics

Wow, I can't believe it's been so long since I've last posted a message. I guess it's been due to a combination of being really busy and not having much to say! Is that a contradiction? We've been letting Jack stay up late since Friday so that he could enjoy the Olympics. He really enjoyed the opening ceremony and has been in awe of the gymnastics. We went to a BBQ on Sunday night and just as we were getting ready to leave they put the ladies gymnastics on and all the kids say and watched. We had to drag Jack away. In other news, we're getting ready to do a really crazy thing. After only two months of having no debt and house payment, we're putting in an offer on a new home! We really had no plans to do this, but when we went to visit our friends on Sunday, we decided to drive around and look at the houses there. Busy week

It's been a busy week with little things here and there, which is getting me ready for the busy summer ahead of us with gymnastics, swimming and all Ethan's therapies. Whew, I need a break from just thinking about it. We did have a nice walk down to our community playground this afternoon. Ethan couldn't stop laughing on the swings and the slide (he couldn't get enough of the slide) and Jack made a little friend! Great afternoon. Speaking of therapies, Ethan starts his occupational therapy next week and I'm so excited. We got the therapy notes back from his evaluation and, while I'm not positive on how I'm reading it, the scores say from poor to very poor. We have been very lucky that Ethan hasn't had any medical issues and so far he seems to be doing well with responding to his therapies, so I really want to make sure he has the best of everything.
