Baby Wyatt

We made it home with Wyatt today!! Here are some photos of the big event, starting with the family toasting at dinner the night before Wyatt's arrival.

And below is a picture of me, waiting to be rolled into the operating room.

Here I am waiting for the big moment.

Dr. Shin, my OB, is on the right after she delivered Wyatt.

Here is our beautiful Wyatt Michael Cornwell. He arrived on Tuesday, April 27th at 7:59p weighing in at 9 lbs. 1 ounce and 22 inches long.

He is a perfect mix of Jack and Ethan!

Mother and son.

Getting wheeled back to our room.

The boys came Tuesday afternoon to meet their little brother. Ethan really was taken with Wyatt. Jack was a bit more standoffish with him, but was excited when talking about him.

Father and new son.

Jack finally holding Wyatt on Wednesday.

Mother and son, and mother and her two youngest. Ethan is a bit jealous but is getting used to having a baby brother around.

Coming home at last!

I'm really tired and very sore but am trying to get up and around as much as possible. Wyatt is a lot like how Jack was -- feeding all the time and needing to be held. But Jack and Ethan are happy to have mom and dad back home and we are starting to settle in as a new family.

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. I've been continuously changing up our great room bookshelves, so I thought I would post a photo for you to see. If anyone has more ideas on how to make it look better, let me know. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well. Of course, a lot of time he still goofs around, trying to fall off stuff, but for the most part he's pretty good at staying on task. Last week they did the monkey bars and he LOVED it and was...

Master Closet Overhaul

We have this ridiculously large walk-in closet in our master bedroom and over time it has been overtaken with STUFF. So I decided I was tired of looking at the mess and it was time to clean it out and up.  Take a look...  I can't believe it went from this... To this!  I love walking in here now and actually find myself looking for reasons to go into my closet.  Along with just weeding out old clothes and items I no longer wore or needed (you should see the pile of stuff that was donated!) I made some changes to the room too.   One of them was my shoe racks. I've long wanted a tall shoe rack to go alongside the built in shelves but I knew it would never get off my husband's to-do list so I took matters into my own hands!!  It's not exactly what I had envisioned but it works and I'm happy with it. Thanks Target for the shelves.  Over the past few years I have developed a deep love for scarves and now own several....
We have traveled around the SE for lacrosse tournaments in the past but this year we had the opportunity to travel to Denver, CO for one. I think it was one of my favorite. We tried to make it a family vacation as well, so we traveled in early the day before and spent some time exploring.  We headed down to Rock Park in Castle Rock and did a little hiking.  See that big rock in the background? Yup, the boys climbed all the way to the top. Ethan and I made it to the base of the rock while Jason, Jack and Wyatt climbed up top.  Ethan and I messing around waiting on the other boys.  Photos of the boys up top.  Our first game was an evening game, so we had most of the day to explore and get used to the altitude (which definitely got to the boys once they got on the field). The fun part of having good friends on the same lacrosse team is you get to explore together. We all drove up to Red Rocks to expl...
