Baby #3 Update

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas! I do have Christmas morning photos to upload but I'm trying to enjoy our last couple of days with Jason before he leaves on Saturday. We are having a New Year's Eve party tomorrow with a lot of Jack's friends, so I'll have those photos to add as well. But to keep you going, here are a few.

As you can see, the boys visited Santa. Jack LOVED it, Ethan not so much. But we didn't even bother to take Jack his second year, as we knew he wouldn't enjoy it. I think this is a pretty good picture with Ethan, considering how unhappy he was!

On Monday we went to have our 20 (+) week ultrasound. We went to see a perinatologist since we opted not to do any genetic testing. I swear, they really want "older" parents to go through the ringer. But they do a more in-depth look at the baby, which is always a good thing. They did spend a lot of time looking at the heart, which concerned us at first, but it was only because they couldn't get a good view as he was laying face down. And, yes, it's going to be another BOY!!! We are beyond excited to have another brother for these two.

The doctor said everything looked good and was measuring just right for how far along I am. He currently weighs just under 2 pounds. Of course, everything looked good at this stage for Ethan too, it wasn't until the end of the pregnancy when the bones measured short. But our only concern was that he was healthy, which he appears to be.

We are now working on picking out names and taking suggestions. Right now the front runner seems to be Wyatt but who knows....

Wishing you all a Happy New Year's. Be safe and we'll chat in the new year.

All our love from the Cornwell's.

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. I've been continuously changing up our great room bookshelves, so I thought I would post a photo for you to see. If anyone has more ideas on how to make it look better, let me know. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well. Of course, a lot of time he still goofs around, trying to fall off stuff, but for the most part he's pretty good at staying on task. Last week they did the monkey bars and he LOVED it and was...

Busy week

It's been a busy week with little things here and there, which is getting me ready for the busy summer ahead of us with gymnastics, swimming and all Ethan's therapies. Whew, I need a break from just thinking about it. We did have a nice walk down to our community playground this afternoon. Ethan couldn't stop laughing on the swings and the slide (he couldn't get enough of the slide) and Jack made a little friend! Great afternoon. Speaking of therapies, Ethan starts his occupational therapy next week and I'm so excited. We got the therapy notes back from his evaluation and, while I'm not positive on how I'm reading it, the scores say from poor to very poor. We have been very lucky that Ethan hasn't had any medical issues and so far he seems to be doing well with responding to his therapies, so I really want to make sure he has the best of everything. Today has just made me a little blue thinking about Ethan not being 100% of what other kids are and ...

Last Day in Prague

Our last full day in Prague. We had a late night parting the night before and a very early morning excursion but this was the one I was excited for! We did a similar excursion in Italy and loved it too. This was an awesome city bike tour to the Vysehrad Castle. We stopped for photo ops along the way - including here along the Charles River. But it's all fun and games until someone gets stopped by the Polizia! Before we left on our trip I was told to make sure you stay away from the police, so I was surprised to come up the big steep hill to see Jason stopped by one. I guess our tour guides didn't get the permit to ride in the park (too close to kids and a school). We had all just come up a big steep hill and were separated from the front of our group. Jason stopped to wait for me and the rest of the group to make sure we knew where to go. We had three guides, on leading, one in the middle who pulled away from Jason, and then one at the back. ...
