Family Update

These are a few photos from our quick trip to Fayetteville, NC last week. We didn't do much while we were there, since it was only four days. But the boys had fun playing. Jack loved sitting on the steps by the front door looking out towards the railroad tracks. He also loved running down the hallway to look into the parking lot to see if Daddy was home yet. One day he did that while I was doing the dishes and when I turned around, Ethan was halfway down the hallway too! Can't keep my eyes off these two.
It was raining the first couple days, so the boys and I spent a lot of time watching stuff on YouTube. Jack is really into science right now and the group They Might Be Giants has a lot of kid friendly music videos that deal with science and space so we watched a lot of those.

We also got the boys hair cut, finally! Aren't they cute?

This is them playing "capture Ethan" in the hallway. It wa so cute.

In other family news, as many of you already know, we are expecting baby #3 on April 30th. I am just coming up to my 12th week and have been really tired and sick to my stomache. They also found an internal bleed during my first ultrasoud so I've been told to take it easy. It's been rough doing this with Jason gone, but it's only going to get tougher so I'd better get used to it!

From here on out, we'll keep you all posted as we go!

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. I've been continuously changing up our great room bookshelves, so I thought I would post a photo for you to see. If anyone has more ideas on how to make it look better, let me know. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well. Of course, a lot of time he still goofs around, trying to fall off stuff, but for the most part he's pretty good at staying on task. Last week they did the monkey bars and he LOVED it and was...
We have traveled around the SE for lacrosse tournaments in the past but this year we had the opportunity to travel to Denver, CO for one. I think it was one of my favorite. We tried to make it a family vacation as well, so we traveled in early the day before and spent some time exploring.  We headed down to Rock Park in Castle Rock and did a little hiking.  See that big rock in the background? Yup, the boys climbed all the way to the top. Ethan and I made it to the base of the rock while Jason, Jack and Wyatt climbed up top.  Ethan and I messing around waiting on the other boys.  Photos of the boys up top.  Our first game was an evening game, so we had most of the day to explore and get used to the altitude (which definitely got to the boys once they got on the field). The fun part of having good friends on the same lacrosse team is you get to explore together. We all drove up to Red Rocks to expl...

Summer is Lacrosse

This summer was especially busy for us as Jack played on TWO travel lacrosse teams and Wyatt played his first year on one. We only had one weekend where Jason and Wyatt headed off to Nashville, TN while Jack, Ethan and I stayed here for each of their tournaments.  This was Wyatt's oh-so-happy-to-get-his-photo-taken face before they headed out to Nashville. I just loved the shirt!!  This was the set up we had for Jack's tournament in town. Ethan was happy as a clam with shade and his iPad!!  Jack had a phenomenal first tournament and was directly responsible for almost all the teams goals. He looked awesome and he joked it was because his annoying youngest brother wasn't around. Boys!  Just a few shots of Jack playing.  Summer also means supporting our local professional field lacrosse team, The Atlanta Blaze. Jack and his buddy Zac had the privilege of working with the team's head coach through the local youth Thund...
