SeaWorld Orlando

Wednesday we had most of the day together, minus a couple hours Jason had to do a phone call. We weren't sure what we would do but decided SeaWorld would be a good option because it wasn't too big and Jason got free passes through the military.

We saw the dolphin show first and the boys LOVED it. It had dolphins, exotic birds, trapeze artists and the works!

Here they all got to touch the stingrays.

Then Jason had to sneak off to do his call so I took the boys on a big roller coaster ride that went through some water at the end. I wasn't sure how Ethan would do but took my chances. I'm not quite sure if he really liked it or not - I know he liked some parts of it - but he was a trooper and survived. And it was refreshing.

All the other exhibits were a long wait in the heat so we headed off to watch the whale show.

 Waiting selfie!!

Wyatt's favorite mammal is the Orca so he loved it, as did the others.

Then we killed some time until we could finally meet up with Daddy.

It was a hot day and Ethan walked almost the entire park before we finally had to rent a stroller. But we tried some more rides in the kid area before calling it a day.

The dolphin pool behind us looked so refreshing we just wanted to jump in!

Put a fork in us, we were done! Walking around in this heat wore us all out so it was back to the hotel for a nap before dinner.

We brought the boys skateboards so Jason and Jack skated over to the restaurant across the street from the hotel while Ethan, Wyatt and I walked.

Then they burned off some more energy afterward before calling it a night. We had a big day coming up - Universal Studios!!

Jack's really gotten the hang of it.

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. I've been continuously changing up our great room bookshelves, so I thought I would post a photo for you to see. If anyone has more ideas on how to make it look better, let me know. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well. Of course, a lot of time he still goofs around, trying to fall off stuff, but for the most part he's pretty good at staying on task. Last week they did the monkey bars and he LOVED it and was...

Busy week

It's been a busy week with little things here and there, which is getting me ready for the busy summer ahead of us with gymnastics, swimming and all Ethan's therapies. Whew, I need a break from just thinking about it. We did have a nice walk down to our community playground this afternoon. Ethan couldn't stop laughing on the swings and the slide (he couldn't get enough of the slide) and Jack made a little friend! Great afternoon. Speaking of therapies, Ethan starts his occupational therapy next week and I'm so excited. We got the therapy notes back from his evaluation and, while I'm not positive on how I'm reading it, the scores say from poor to very poor. We have been very lucky that Ethan hasn't had any medical issues and so far he seems to be doing well with responding to his therapies, so I really want to make sure he has the best of everything. Today has just made me a little blue thinking about Ethan not being 100% of what other kids are and ...

Last Day in Prague

Our last full day in Prague. We had a late night parting the night before and a very early morning excursion but this was the one I was excited for! We did a similar excursion in Italy and loved it too. This was an awesome city bike tour to the Vysehrad Castle. We stopped for photo ops along the way - including here along the Charles River. But it's all fun and games until someone gets stopped by the Polizia! Before we left on our trip I was told to make sure you stay away from the police, so I was surprised to come up the big steep hill to see Jason stopped by one. I guess our tour guides didn't get the permit to ride in the park (too close to kids and a school). We had all just come up a big steep hill and were separated from the front of our group. Jason stopped to wait for me and the rest of the group to make sure we knew where to go. We had three guides, on leading, one in the middle who pulled away from Jason, and then one at the back. ...
