Snoqulamie Falls & More

We always enjoy visiting Snoqualmie Falls up in the mountains.

Auntie Jake joined us.

Along with Yves and Uncle Jason.

Beautiful, but with the drought they've been having in the NW the waterfall wasn't as powerful as it can be.

This year our cousin Robyn and her family were in town on the Eastern side of the mountains and met us in Snoqualmie for lunch and a catch up.

Love seeing all these kids together!

If only we didn't live so far away from each other!

Later that night we headed down to Uncle Jason's apartment in Kent and spent some time on his rooftop patio. Look at that beautiful mountain popping up behind them!

Wish I could bring that mountain back to Georgia with me!!

Now it's time for s'mores!

It was a lovely evening for the boys to play and for me to really get to know Yves, who is super sweet and a wonderful addition to our family.

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. I've been continuously changing up our great room bookshelves, so I thought I would post a photo for you to see. If anyone has more ideas on how to make it look better, let me know. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well. We have traveled around the SE for lacrosse tournaments in the past but this year we had the opportunity to travel to Denver, CO for one. I think it was one of my favorite. We tried to make it a family vacation as well, so we traveled in early the day before and spent some time exploring. We headed down to Rock Park in Castle Rock and did a little hiking. See that big rock in the background? Yup, the boys climbed all the way to the top. Ethan and I made it to the base of the rock while Jason, Jack and Wyatt climbed up top. Summer is Lacrosse

This summer was especially busy for us as Jack played on TWO travel lacrosse teams and Wyatt played his first year on one. We only had one weekend where Jason and Wyatt headed off to Nashville, TN while Jack, Ethan and I stayed here for each of their tournaments. This was Wyatt's oh-so-happy-to-get-his-photo-taken face before they headed out to Nashville. I just loved the shirt!! This was the set up we had for Jack's tournament in town. Ethan was happy as a clam with shade and his iPad!! Jack had a phenomenal first tournament and was directly responsible for almost all the teams goals.
