Birthday Boys

 We got home from our Spring Break trip just in time to celebrate Jason's birthday.
The boys spent the morning making him birthday cards and helping me wrap his gifts.

 Then before heading out for a celebration dinner Daddy opened his gifts.

 A University of Washington travel coffee cup...

 And a Keep Calm and Go Fishing shirt!

Then it was time to celebrate Wyatt's birthday.

 While Wyatt's birthday is not until Monday (the 27th) we celebrated on Saturday since Jason was going to be traveling on the actual day.

 Which was fine by Wyatt because as soon as he saw all the gifts it was a non-stop request to open them!

 First up was a gift from Ethan.


 Plants vs. Zombie toys!!

 Then Mom and Dad gifts.


 "I knew it!" he says when he opened his Call of Duty Ghost astronaut toy.

 Then a gift from Jack.

 Lego Clone Trooper toys!

 And finally some Skylander toys!

 He loved everything he got.

 And then the fun of putting them together with the help of his big brother.


 And the birthday boy requested carrot cake - yummy!

 I can't believe he is turning five!

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. I've been continuously changing up our great room bookshelves, so I thought I would post a photo for you to see. If anyone has more ideas on how to make it look better, let me know. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well. Busy week

It's been a busy week with little things here and there, which is getting me ready for the busy summer ahead of us with gymnastics, swimming and all Ethan's therapies. Whew, I need a break from just thinking about it. We did have a nice walk down to our community playground this afternoon. Ethan couldn't stop laughing on the swings and the slide (he couldn't get enough of the slide) and Jack made a little friend! Great afternoon. Speaking of therapies, Ethan starts his occupational therapy next week and I'm so excited. We got the therapy notes back from his evaluation and, while I'm not positive on how I'm reading it, the scores say from poor to very poor. We have been very lucky that Ethan hasn't had any medical issues and so far he seems to be doing well with responding to his therapies, so I really want to make sure he has the best of everything. Today has just made me a little blue thinking about Ethan not being 100% of what other kids are and ...

Last Day in Prague

Our last full day in Prague. We had a late night parting the night before and a very early morning excursion but this was the one I was excited for! We did a similar excursion in Italy and loved it too. This was an awesome city bike tour to the Vysehrad Castle. We stopped for photo ops along the way - including here along the Charles River. But it's all fun and games until someone gets stopped by the Polizia! Before we left on our trip I was told to make sure you stay away from the police, so I was surprised to come up the big steep hill to see Jason stopped by one. I guess our tour guides didn't get the permit to ride in the park (too close to kids and a school). We had all just come up a big steep hill and were separated from the front of our group. Jason stopped to wait for me and the rest of the group to make sure we knew where to go. We had three guides, on leading, one in the middle who pulled away from Jason, and then one at the back. ...
