Happy Halloween

 Welcome to our Halloween home...

Daddy was getting into the Halloween fun with Jack's costume.
Our little Blue's Clues puppy dog!!  He got LOTS of compliments on how cute he was.
We were able to get him to say "trick treat."
Wyatt did not want to get his photo taken so he kept turning every time I snapped the camera. But he is a Power Ranger in a costume that's about 5 times too big, so we had to roll up the legs and sleeves and pin them - LOL.
Growing up, my mother would always make us pumpkin face hamburgers (pumpkin faces cut into the cheese with no bun) and I made that for Jack the first year we lived in our current home but he didn't like them so I've been making mummy dogs (crescent rolls in strips wrapped around hot dogs) ever since and the boys LOVE them!!
Jack was a creeper from the game Minecraft - everyone loved his costume.
Happy Halloween from the Cornwell boys!!
Jack's loot after his first run.
Wyatt's loot. Ethan didn't care about the candy so I have no photo of him with his stash but it's about the same size as the others.
I was nursing a monster headache all night so Jason took the boys while I stayed home to pass out the candy.  He brought the little ones back, took a bit of a rest, and then he and Jack headed out to get more. Wyatt stayed behind to help me pass out candy with the promise from Jack that he would share half the candy he got - sweet boy.  Wyatt and I had fun while Ethan enjoyed some time with the tablet (I swear he's worse than Jack on that thing...)
The benefits of having an orthodontist for a neighbor - they gifted us with toothbrushes for the family and toothpaste!!  I love our street and all our neighbors!!
And Halloween wouldn't be complete without cards from Nana and Granddad.  The boys love getting their "kisses" (aka coins).

Hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween.  I know these days of little ones dressing up and trick or treating are going to go by fast, so I'm trying to enjoy every minute of it.

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. I've been continuously changing up our great room bookshelves, so I thought I would post a photo for you to see. If anyone has more ideas on how to make it look better, let me know. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well. Of course, a lot of time he still goofs around, trying to fall off stuff, but for the most part he's pretty good at staying on task. Last week they did the monkey bars and he LOVED it and was...
We have traveled around the SE for lacrosse tournaments in the past but this year we had the opportunity to travel to Denver, CO for one. I think it was one of my favorite. We tried to make it a family vacation as well, so we traveled in early the day before and spent some time exploring.  We headed down to Rock Park in Castle Rock and did a little hiking.  See that big rock in the background? Yup, the boys climbed all the way to the top. Ethan and I made it to the base of the rock while Jason, Jack and Wyatt climbed up top.  Ethan and I messing around waiting on the other boys.  Photos of the boys up top.  Our first game was an evening game, so we had most of the day to explore and get used to the altitude (which definitely got to the boys once they got on the field). The fun part of having good friends on the same lacrosse team is you get to explore together. We all drove up to Red Rocks to expl...

Summer is Lacrosse

This summer was especially busy for us as Jack played on TWO travel lacrosse teams and Wyatt played his first year on one. We only had one weekend where Jason and Wyatt headed off to Nashville, TN while Jack, Ethan and I stayed here for each of their tournaments.  This was Wyatt's oh-so-happy-to-get-his-photo-taken face before they headed out to Nashville. I just loved the shirt!!  This was the set up we had for Jack's tournament in town. Ethan was happy as a clam with shade and his iPad!!  Jack had a phenomenal first tournament and was directly responsible for almost all the teams goals. He looked awesome and he joked it was because his annoying youngest brother wasn't around. Boys!  Just a few shots of Jack playing.  Summer also means supporting our local professional field lacrosse team, The Atlanta Blaze. Jack and his buddy Zac had the privilege of working with the team's head coach through the local youth Thund...
