Busy Fall Weekend

We have hit the perfect weather season in Georgia.  We are cool in the mornings and evenings and warm in the afternoons -- perfect for getting outside to play.
We got Wyatt a little three wheeled scooter so that he could play outside with Jack and all the kids in the cul-de-sac.
Jack enjoyed being the one to teach Wyatt how to use it.
 Ready to roll.
Ethan enjoyed being out with his brothers but sidewalk chalk is more his speed.  I tried to get a photo of him playing but as soon as he saw the camera he made a beeline to see what picture was taken.
 Roller Boys
Saturday we headed up into the mountains to visit Burt's Pumpkin Farm to get our pumpkins.  We have so much fun at this pumpkin farm and they have a great selection to choose from.
Loading up to find our pumpkins.
 Think I'll take this one!
Wyatt thinks he's found the perfect pumpkin.
 Or maybe that one.
 Jack has a suggestion too!
 Two little pumpkins...
Now three.
 I love my boys.
Jack was a big help for Daddy.
 All hands on deck.
 Family photo time.
Look at that smile?  And look at those cool white and blue pumpkins!
After all that pumpkin gathering it was time to cool off in the river.
And, as usual, Wyatt is not far behind Jack.
But all I could see was a little one falling into the water, so Daddy helped Wyatt across.

 Our fall door.
Closer up to the front door.
Where did that little pumpkin come from???
Jack got an air pellet gun for his birthday so Jason has been teaching him firearm safety and how to properly use a gun.

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. I've been continuously changing up our great room bookshelves, so I thought I would post a photo for you to see. If anyone has more ideas on how to make it look better, let me know. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well. Of course, a lot of time he still goofs around, trying to fall off stuff, but for the most part he's pretty good at staying on task. Last week they did the monkey bars and he LOVED it and was...
We have traveled around the SE for lacrosse tournaments in the past but this year we had the opportunity to travel to Denver, CO for one. I think it was one of my favorite. We tried to make it a family vacation as well, so we traveled in early the day before and spent some time exploring.  We headed down to Rock Park in Castle Rock and did a little hiking.  See that big rock in the background? Yup, the boys climbed all the way to the top. Ethan and I made it to the base of the rock while Jason, Jack and Wyatt climbed up top.  Ethan and I messing around waiting on the other boys.  Photos of the boys up top.  Our first game was an evening game, so we had most of the day to explore and get used to the altitude (which definitely got to the boys once they got on the field). The fun part of having good friends on the same lacrosse team is you get to explore together. We all drove up to Red Rocks to expl...

Summer is Lacrosse

This summer was especially busy for us as Jack played on TWO travel lacrosse teams and Wyatt played his first year on one. We only had one weekend where Jason and Wyatt headed off to Nashville, TN while Jack, Ethan and I stayed here for each of their tournaments.  This was Wyatt's oh-so-happy-to-get-his-photo-taken face before they headed out to Nashville. I just loved the shirt!!  This was the set up we had for Jack's tournament in town. Ethan was happy as a clam with shade and his iPad!!  Jack had a phenomenal first tournament and was directly responsible for almost all the teams goals. He looked awesome and he joked it was because his annoying youngest brother wasn't around. Boys!  Just a few shots of Jack playing.  Summer also means supporting our local professional field lacrosse team, The Atlanta Blaze. Jack and his buddy Zac had the privilege of working with the team's head coach through the local youth Thund...
