There are a lot of photos in this posting...I hope you enjoy all the action shots of the boys playing. These are all from our Easter Weekend, which was the last weekend of Spring Break, and Jason had the Thursday and Friday off, so we had lots of fun family time. Besides hanging out at home, we made a trip into the city to visit the zoo, but it was so crowded. Jack and Wyatt had fun, but it was a bit too crowded for Ethan. Except for the panda exhibit and the play areas, he didn't want anything to do the place.
Anyway, as you can see from these photos, Wyatt is our sports kiddo. He loves anything to do with a ball - hitting, kicking, throwing. He's got a pretty good arm, too.
Jason's been in seventh Heaven playing ball with the boys. They all love it. And he and Jack have been tossing the ball a lot lately too, and Jack seems to really like that.
But Jason is loving his bee's. Last weekend he was out checking them and so far they've been doing what they are supposed to be doing - having babies and making honeycomb.
I've been admiring all my pretty flowers. I love this time of the year when the grass is green and all the flowers are in bloom. I never thought I would be interested in gardening, but I've really been bitten by it over the past few years. I can't wait until we get the backyard done and I can start planting my walking garden!!
There's our little backyard garden. We have tomato's, strawberries and peppers. We have a pot on the back deck in which I'm going to be planting lettuce and carrots. We'll see how that goes!
Our other big project over the holiday weekend was planting some grape vines. I think this will be a pretty spot for them.
Jack loved helping Daddy.
Here are the boys, Easter morning, going through their Easter baskets.
And then the hunt was on...
Every time Wyatt found and egg he would call out, "egg."
Then it was back to the planting.
Jason did all the work, as my hand is still in a brace from having a cyst drained. One more week to go.
The final look. I can't wait for them to start growing up and along the wire; it will look so pretty and with the completion of the backyard landscaping, this will soon become my favorite place to spend time.
I love the view looking down the side of the house.
Now it's Ethan's turn to play. He's pretty good hitting the ball too. Next year, when he's 5, there is a sports team that is for kids special needs that I'll enroll him in. I'm really looking forward to the busy spring ball filled days.
Ethan and Wyatt had to wrap up the day playing with the plastic eggs. They were so cute out there together.
Hope you all had a nice Easter!!!
