The Boys Around the House

Ethan and Wyatt are either the best of friends or are fighting. Usually, Ethan is hitting or pushing Wyatt. Luckily, Wyatt doesn't remember for long and is always back to see what fun his big brother is up to. Their favorite thing is to open the kitchen cabinets and pull everything out. I love these photos of Ethan loving on Wyatt and then the two of them looking at me like cats that ate the canary! Lately, when I tell Wyatt no, Ethan repeats and tells him no while pulling his hands away from whatever it is he's doing.

Here is Wyatt's next favorite place - the dog bed. What is it with all the boys, they have all thought that dog beds were perfect places for them. Here is a rare photo of Amber actually letting Wyatt lay on her. Normally he gets close and she barks at him. But these boys do love their dogs.

I just love when Wyatt smiles with his hands up by his face - he looks almost diabolical; like he has something up his sleeve.

Good daddy/son time!

Ethan waiting for the school bus with Daddy on a rainy day, enjoying the rocking chairs.

It's so cute to see him get on the bus. He sits in his seat by the window and waves like crazy and blows kisses. It's the cutest thing in the world.

Jack and Ethan have been playing together a lot lately. Now that Ethan is walking so much more, Jack has found him to be more of a playmate. Their new thing is to go out front, climb down the front lawn, walk along the sidewalk, climb up the driveway and make their way into the backyard to play on the playset.

Below are some photos of Wyatt when he was really sick. He had a temp of over 104 and was just out. We eventually had to cool him off with wet towels all over his body. It took awhile but eventually did the trick. He's better now, after suffering an allergic reaction to his first round of medicine.

When the fever finally broke, he and Ethan headed outside to play. Here Wyatt is making his way down the back deck for the first time.

And Ethan letting us know where Wyatt was going.

Wyatt's first time on the swings in the backyard.

He loved it!

Jack is doing a great job learning to push and pull with his legs to make himself swing. Even Ethan got on the big boy swing for the first time and did a great job holding on.

Then he and Jack got on the tire swing and had the best time!

I had to take so many photos because they were twisting around so much I couldn't get good views of them at the same time.

Now we're off to enjoy this beautiful weather before the boys go to bed. So happy that Spring is finally here!

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. I've been continuously changing up our great room bookshelves, so I thought I would post a photo for you to see. If anyone has more ideas on how to make it look better, let me know. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well. Of course, a lot of time he still goofs around, trying to fall off stuff, but for the most part he's pretty good at staying on task. Last week they did the monkey bars and he LOVED it and was...
We have traveled around the SE for lacrosse tournaments in the past but this year we had the opportunity to travel to Denver, CO for one. I think it was one of my favorite. We tried to make it a family vacation as well, so we traveled in early the day before and spent some time exploring.  We headed down to Rock Park in Castle Rock and did a little hiking.  See that big rock in the background? Yup, the boys climbed all the way to the top. Ethan and I made it to the base of the rock while Jason, Jack and Wyatt climbed up top.  Ethan and I messing around waiting on the other boys.  Photos of the boys up top.  Our first game was an evening game, so we had most of the day to explore and get used to the altitude (which definitely got to the boys once they got on the field). The fun part of having good friends on the same lacrosse team is you get to explore together. We all drove up to Red Rocks to expl...

Summer is Lacrosse

This summer was especially busy for us as Jack played on TWO travel lacrosse teams and Wyatt played his first year on one. We only had one weekend where Jason and Wyatt headed off to Nashville, TN while Jack, Ethan and I stayed here for each of their tournaments.  This was Wyatt's oh-so-happy-to-get-his-photo-taken face before they headed out to Nashville. I just loved the shirt!!  This was the set up we had for Jack's tournament in town. Ethan was happy as a clam with shade and his iPad!!  Jack had a phenomenal first tournament and was directly responsible for almost all the teams goals. He looked awesome and he joked it was because his annoying youngest brother wasn't around. Boys!  Just a few shots of Jack playing.  Summer also means supporting our local professional field lacrosse team, The Atlanta Blaze. Jack and his buddy Zac had the privilege of working with the team's head coach through the local youth Thund...
