Wintery Weekend

Well, so much for our warmer than normal predicted winter. We've been cold for about a week now and even had snow over the weekend and now freezing rain. At least we're all comfy, cozy at home! The boys were loving playing with Daddy and I just couldn't resist snapping away. Wyatt has discovered bananas in a mesh holder. Between him and Ethan, I can't keep enough of them in the house!

The many faces of Ethan - what a ham! But I particularly like the expressions on Wyatt's face in the background.

It's been fun to watch Jack progress with his Legos. At first, Jason had to build everything for him. Now, Jack gets right in there and creates and plays on his own.

I had to show off Ethan's new way to watch TV. He pulls himself up onto the box and then hangs there - sometime with his chin resting on his hands.

Sunday we got some snow and the boys loved it. It wasn't enough to do anything with but it was pretty to watch. Ethan was fascinated by it but Wyatt wasn't really sure what all the fuss was about!

Jack, as usual, helped me with my Christmas sugar cookies. It's so funny that he loves to help me bake but won't eat any of it. I keep thinking that's going to change, but he's 5 and won't even try something if you say it's sweet.

He sure is proud of his work, though!

The remote control Alaska Airlines airplanes Nana sent home for the two bigger boys have sure been a hit. Jack and Ethan control them and Wyatt chases after them. Then Jack helps rescue Ethan's plane when he can't get it to back up! They all three played for a good 30 minutes (at least) together at this game and I loved watching it.

Ethan and Wyatt will either be the best of friends or constantly arguing. Right now they each need to have what the others got but still love to give each other loves.

Here's Jack back, hard at work decorating his frosted cookies!

Here is Ethan making Wyatt laugh hysterically.

Like I said, they're either loving each other or taking away the others toys!

Tonight we were giving Jack and Ethan a bath and Wyatt couldn't keep away from the tub so we decided to toss him in there too. They liked it until Ethan started getting to excited. It's not really a big enough tub for all of them, but it sure was cute to see!

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. I've been continuously changing up our great room bookshelves, so I thought I would post a photo for you to see. If anyone has more ideas on how to make it look better, let me know. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well. Of course, a lot of time he still goofs around, trying to fall off stuff, but for the most part he's pretty good at staying on task. Last week they did the monkey bars and he LOVED it and was...
We have traveled around the SE for lacrosse tournaments in the past but this year we had the opportunity to travel to Denver, CO for one. I think it was one of my favorite. We tried to make it a family vacation as well, so we traveled in early the day before and spent some time exploring.  We headed down to Rock Park in Castle Rock and did a little hiking.  See that big rock in the background? Yup, the boys climbed all the way to the top. Ethan and I made it to the base of the rock while Jason, Jack and Wyatt climbed up top.  Ethan and I messing around waiting on the other boys.  Photos of the boys up top.  Our first game was an evening game, so we had most of the day to explore and get used to the altitude (which definitely got to the boys once they got on the field). The fun part of having good friends on the same lacrosse team is you get to explore together. We all drove up to Red Rocks to expl...

Summer is Lacrosse

This summer was especially busy for us as Jack played on TWO travel lacrosse teams and Wyatt played his first year on one. We only had one weekend where Jason and Wyatt headed off to Nashville, TN while Jack, Ethan and I stayed here for each of their tournaments.  This was Wyatt's oh-so-happy-to-get-his-photo-taken face before they headed out to Nashville. I just loved the shirt!!  This was the set up we had for Jack's tournament in town. Ethan was happy as a clam with shade and his iPad!!  Jack had a phenomenal first tournament and was directly responsible for almost all the teams goals. He looked awesome and he joked it was because his annoying youngest brother wasn't around. Boys!  Just a few shots of Jack playing.  Summer also means supporting our local professional field lacrosse team, The Atlanta Blaze. Jack and his buddy Zac had the privilege of working with the team's head coach through the local youth Thund...
