Cold, Snnowy Southern Day

After a warm and rainy Friday and Saturday, Sunday hit us with a bang -- about 2 inches of snow! It didn't stick around too long, but long enough for Jack to have fun playing in it. It was a bit too cold for Mommy and Ethan so it was a good thing that Jason was home for the weekend.

Ethan and Stanley are good friends and we were finally able to get a couple of photos of them together. I couldn't quite get the camera fast enough to catch Ethan giving Stanley loves but I got a couple good photos!

One of Jack's favorite things to do is walk around in mine or Jason's shoes. Today he got into my combat boots along with a hat and scarf. Then he clomped all around and fell (on purpose) everywhere. He's a crack up!

Our neighbors gave the boys these Bass Pro Shop hoodies for Christmas and I had them both wearing them today so I had to get a picture of them.

Jack loves the store (he likes to get on all the boats) but it's on the other side of the city (a good hour plus drive) so we only go on rare occasions. He's started asking to go to shop, "I won't say anything all the way there!" Where he gets these things, I have no idea.

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. I've been continuously changing up our great room bookshelves, so I thought I would post a photo for you to see. If anyone has more ideas on how to make it look better, let me know. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well. We have traveled around the SE for lacrosse tournaments in the past but this year we had the opportunity to travel to Denver, CO for one. I think it was one of my favorite. We tried to make it a family vacation as well, so we traveled in early the day before and spent some time exploring. We headed down to Rock Park in Castle Rock and did a little hiking. See that big rock in the background? Yup, the boys climbed all the way to the top. Ethan and I made it to the base of the rock while Jason, Jack and Wyatt climbed up top. Summer is Lacrosse

This summer was especially busy for us as Jack played on TWO travel lacrosse teams and Wyatt played his first year on one. We only had one weekend where Jason and Wyatt headed off to Nashville, TN while Jack, Ethan and I stayed here for each of their tournaments. This was Wyatt's oh-so-happy-to-get-his-photo-taken face before they headed out to Nashville. I just loved the shirt!! This was the set up we had for Jack's tournament in town. Ethan was happy as a clam with shade and his iPad!! Jack had a phenomenal first tournament and was directly responsible for almost all the teams goals.
