We're Home


We arrived back safely in Atlanta late last night and have been spending the day getting back into our daily swing of things. After a morning shopping trip and an all day clothes washing event, I feel somewhat there, although I still have lots of things to organize and clean before Jack's birthday party on Sunday. Both boys were in bed by 8p (Jack even falling asleep first) but then we were up by 6:30a. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

I don't have time to blog too long tonight. I ready for bed myself, after trying to clean out over 600 email messages (about half way there). Over the next few days I'll post more pictures and share our stories, but for the most party, we had a fantastic time and loved (almost) every minute over there. But we're very happy to be home.

I'm so glad to hear that you are all home, safe and sound! Cannot wait to hear your stories. Looks like you had some decent weather. Happy belated birthday Jack!

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town.  We have traveled around the SE for lacrosse tournaments in the past but this year we had the opportunity to travel to Denver, CO for one. I think it was one of my favorite. We tried to make it a family vacation as well, so we traveled in early the day before and spent some time exploring.  We headed down to Rock Park in Castle Rock and did a little hiking.  See that big rock in the background? Yup, the boys climbed all the way to the top. Summer is Lacrosse

 This summer was especially busy for us as Jack played on TWO travel lacrosse teams and Wyatt played his first year on one. We only had one weekend where Jason and Wyatt headed off to Nashville, TN while Jack, Ethan and I stayed here for each of their tournaments.  This was Wyatt's oh-so-happy-to-get-his-photo-taken face before they headed out to Nashville. I just loved the shirt!!  This was the set up we had for Jack's tournament in town. Ethan was happy as a clam with shade and his iPad!!  Jack had a phenomenal first tournament and was directly responsible for almost all the teams goals. He looked awesome and he joked it was because his annoying youngest brother wasn't around.
