Christmas Review

I can't believe it's almost March and I still haven't posted all my pictures from the holidays. It's safe to say we've had a very busy year. So, forgive the late post but here are our Christmas pictures. And what a better one to start with but this one of the boys, all looking at me and somewhat smiling at the same time. I think this might be my favorite photos of the boys so far. I love the way Ethan is sitting with his leg up on the bottom step; he looks about 14 with that attitude.

While Jason and I enjoyed watching National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, the boys decided to write their letters to Santa. I love how intense they were with them.

Then it was time to sprinkle the reindeer food on the front lawn before bed.

I couldn't get Jack or Ethan to join this photo so here's Wyatt leaving the letters and cookies and milk for Santa.

Christmas morning found lots of goodies for the boys from Santa.

It's so rare for Ethan to play with anything other than the iPad, so I had to snap some pictures.

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. I've been continuously changing up our great room bookshelves, so I thought I would post a photo for you to see. If anyone has more ideas on how to make it look better, let me know. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well. Of course, a lot of time he still goofs around, trying to fall off stuff, but for the most part he's pretty good at staying on task. Last week they did the monkey bars and he LOVED it and was...

We have traveled around the SE for lacrosse tournaments in the past but this year we had the opportunity to travel to Denver, CO for one. I think it was one of my favorite. We tried to make it a family vacation as well, so we traveled in early the day before and spent some time exploring. We headed down to Rock Park in Castle Rock and did a little hiking. See that big rock in the background? Yup, the boys climbed all the way to the top. Ethan and I made it to the base of the rock while Jason, Jack and Wyatt climbed up top. Summer is Lacrosse

This summer was especially busy for us as Jack played on TWO travel lacrosse teams and Wyatt played his first year on one. We only had one weekend where Jason and Wyatt headed off to Nashville, TN while Jack, Ethan and I stayed here for each of their tournaments. This was Wyatt's oh-so-happy-to-get-his-photo-taken face before they headed out to Nashville. I just loved the shirt!! This was the set up we had for Jack's tournament in town. Ethan was happy as a clam with shade and his iPad!! Jack had a phenomenal first tournament and was directly responsible for almost all the teams goals. He looked awesome and he joked it was because his annoying youngest brother wasn't around. Boys! Just a few shots of Jack playing.
