Back in my day, Field Day was on the last day of school and everyone participated at the same time. These days, each grade goes on a different day. Also, I don't remember any parents coming to watch...maybe we are too involved in our kids. Anyway, Ethan's field day was first. I didn't make it to the first part, as I wasn't sure he would actually participate. I guess he did, and really enjoyed it, but I missed it and only got to watch him enjoy the bouncy house.
But he wouldn't come down the slide.
He climbed up the ladder but wouldn't slide down. I guess climbing up and down was good enough for him.
Jack's class was up next.
They made several rotations of different games in the morning.
Jack got the furthest across this wall out of everyone in his group.
After these rotations they broke for lunch and some Kona Ice before coming back for the relays.
He had fun but it was so loud in the gym.
Finally it was Wyatt's class.
I love this photo of Wyatt and his best friends in his class.
Action shot.
The kangaroo hop with a ball between their legs - this was pretty fun to watch a bunch of kindergarteners do.
Final event was the teacher's wrapping up their class with toilet paper.
Freedom! Except they still had a couple weeks of school.
