Around the House and Visiting with the Grandparents

We are slowly getting our formal living room complete. After finding the couch a few weeks ago, we found the perfect rug for the room. We have picked out a beautiful sideboard to go along the wall between this room and the kitchen that we hope to get in the next couple of months. Then a few lamps and we'll be done! I'm so happy with the way the room has turned out and can't wait for the boys to get a bit bigger so all the toys can stay upstairs! I have been having so much fun playing in the dirt and adding some much needed color to the front of the house. I now fully enjoy my front porch and feel that it is a very welcoming entryway. I love sitting out here watching the boys play in the front yard and in the cul-de-sac. Jack had fun getting our new sofa and bar stools delivered ... he sat in each new items as it was brought in! The room feels so much warmer and inviting now that we have four bar stools along the counter. I envision three little boys in the very near

Mommy's Little Helper

Wyatt is never far from my side, and luckily these days he's wanting to help me out!! These pics are so cute of him helping my dust ... ... and water my plants outside! Jack wanted to get in on the photos, but I have to say, he's my biggest help and always has been. A good trait for boys! I just love these guys!

Jack's Preschool Graduation

Where does the time go??? Friday morning, Jack "graduated" from preschool! Jason had a knee doctor appointment that he was unable to reschedule, so he took Ethan (I didn't want to have to deal with both him and Wyatt if I didn't have too, plus it's good for him to get one-on-one Daddy time). This is Jack entering his school (it's part of a very large Baptist church) and I was so focused on getting a good shot of the church behind him that I didn't notice that his zipper is coming down or that his shirt is coming up! Good job Mommy. Wyatt and I dropped him off in his classroom and then found a seat in the sanctuary. Wyatt did really well and even enjoyed sitting on the seat next to me for a bit. There was a lot of watch, so I'm sure that helped. I always thought graduations from anything but high school or college was silly and a waste of time, but as soon as they started playing the music and the kids came in with their graduation caps, the tears

Easter, Just a Tad Late

I've got such a backload of photos to share with you all...let's see how much I can post over the next few days! This is our Easter celebration, starting with the Easter Baskets Jack and Ethan made at their schools (Ethan's is the bunny basket; isn't it cute?). And below is Jack coloring his eggs. We always seem to wait until the last minute, as in the night before Easter! Oh well, it will become our tradition I suppose. Here are the boys enjoying their Easter baskets from the Easter Bunny! And this is our yummy Easter breakfast...baked french toast with a warm berry topping (so good!), scrambled eggs and sausage. Then it was off to hunt for eggs. Jack did a great job in helping his little brothers and not just taking all the eggs he could find. And Wyatt, without any direction from us, knew exactly what to do! He pays far too much attention to his brothers.... Then it was time to play in the yard! Wyatt really liked the slide and couldn't stay off of it. It
