Crazy Couple of Weeks

Sorry I have been absent from posting for so long. It's been a crazy couple of weeks. And not just due to having a new baby in the house and three little boys vying for my attention. The first weekend we were home I got really sick with a temp of 102 and the chills and dizziness. It was a rough weekend but I managed to get better by Monday. And then Wyatt decided to get sick on the Tuesday. He had a temp of 101.8 so we rushed off to the ER only to be admitted to Children's Hospital for three days where he was diagnosed with meningitis. Luckily it was only viral and not bacterial. But it was a rough week. Thank you to everyone for their thoughts and prayers for us during that time. We've been healthy for a week now and settling into a somewhat routine!

Auntie Jake and Granddad left before our exciting hospital visit. Jason left this past Tuesday and now it's just me, Mom and the boys. As you will see from the photos, Jack is completely enamored with Wyatt and Ethan is coming around, getting excited about being a big brother and start doing more big boy stuff.

This is how Jack and Daddy have been spending their time together (while he was home) -- remote control truck! The boys have been having a blast!

The Cornwell boys!

I can't believe it's been over two weeks already! This boy is such a joy to have in our lives and three little boys, while challenging right now, is so much fun!

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. I've been continuously changing up our great room bookshelves, so I thought I would post a photo for you to see. If anyone has more ideas on how to make it look better, let me know. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well. Of course, a lot of time he still goofs around, trying to fall off stuff, but for the most part he's pretty good at staying on task. Last week they did the monkey bars and he LOVED it and was

The Olympics

Wow, I can't believe it's been so long since I've last posted a message. I guess it's been due to a combination of being really busy and not having much to say! Is that a contradiction? We've been letting Jack stay up late since Friday so that he could enjoy the Olympics. He really enjoyed the opening ceremony and has been in awe of the gymnastics. We went to a BBQ on Sunday night and just as we were getting ready to leave they put the ladies gymnastics on and all the kids say and watched. We had to drag Jack away. In other news, we're getting ready to do a really crazy thing. After only two months of having no debt and house payment, we're putting in an offer on a new home! We really had no plans to do this, but when we went to visit our friends on Sunday, we decided to drive around and look at the houses there. We had looked in there back before Ethan was born and fell in love with the place so we thought we'd just take a look and see how much i

Last Day in Prague

Our last full day in Prague. We had a late night parting the night before and a very early morning excursion but this was the one I was excited for! We did a similar excursion in Italy and loved it too. This was an awesome city bike tour to the Vysehrad Castle. We stopped for photo ops along the way - including here along the Charles River. But it's all fun and games until someone gets stopped by the Polizia! Before we left on our trip I was told to make sure you stay away from the police, so I was surprised to come up the big steep hill to see Jason stopped by one. I guess our tour guides didn't get the permit to ride in the park (too close to kids and a school). We had all just come up a big steep hill and were separated from the front of our group. Jason stopped to wait for me and the rest of the group to make sure we knew where to go. We had three guides, on leading, one in the middle who pulled away from Jason, and then one at the back.
