Getting Into Our Routine

We're now into week three of school and getting our routine down pat. Jason started back at his civilian job last week and left yesterday for his first travel week. I have a feeling that life will be crazy from here on out! This picture of Ethan says it all. We are all exhausted by the end of the day. My biggest troublemaker is the youngest member of this family. While Wyatt is getting used to being with just me in the mornings, it hasn't stopped him from getting into anything and everything. I wasn't fast enough with my camera to capture him all the way in the box, but this is him exploring what he can do with it. He's at the height now where he can get into a whole lot more and he's clever enough to find something to use to help him get into MORE trouble! It's almost impossible to get any work down with him around. I've been so busy this month with my Willow House business but I'm finding it a challenge to get much done, as I have

Back To School

Summer is over and the boys are back in school. Now, if only we could get a relief from this 100 degree weather! Our routine is starting to settle into place, as the two big boys trudge off to school early in the morning and Wyatt gets to enjoy some one on one time with mommy. You can see from these photos how happy the boys were to start school - and you will also see from these photos how dark it is in the morning. That's because the bus comes BEFORE 7am! Crazy! But both boys came home the first day with big smiles on their faces. Ethan excitedly answered "ye

The Last Days of Summer

School started back up this week, which was far too early in my book, so here are a few photos of our last days of summer. We've had some really hot weather and Jason had been recovering from his latest (and last, hopefully) surgery - which was a success - so we basically stayed around the house, but we are planning a trip to the beach for Labor Day weekend with some good friends of ours. Ethan and Wyatt were getting into the school spirit (I'll post school pics soon) by trying to wear the Mr. Potato Head glasses. These two are so silly together! And even though Ethan and Wyatt are the best of friends and always want to play with each other, Wyatt is so much like Jack - an outside boy who would rather be out than in. Over the summer, Wyatt has mastered the playset. First by climbing up the ladder and sliding down the slide, and now by climbing UP the slide and sliding down. I really have to direct him to use the ladder, as he would prefer the slide to get up. Here he goes u
