Arts & Crafts

I'm trying to get better about finding fun things to do with the boys and lately the little ones have both shown an interest in coloring.  Now we're just working on keeping the color crayons on the paper and not the table!  Ethan and Jack both had to disguise a turkey for a Thanksgiving project for school so we popped all the kids up at the table to do their work.  I have no photos of Jack because these were taken while he and Daddy ran up to the store to get supplies - he made his into Santa Clause and for whatever reason we had no glue or construction paper.  So while they were gone I took some photos of Ethan coloring his turkey and Wyatt just having fun coloring whatever he could get his hands on.  They both had so much fun that we moved on to coloring on a big pad of floor paper a few days later.  But it was hard for them to keep it on the paper and not color the floor!  Every November people share the things they are thankful for, usually one a day for the month.  I'm taking this opportunity to to share it all at once.   Quite simply, I thankful for everything...the good, the bad and the ugly, as it has made me who I am. The past few years have been rough, but we've trudged through and I feel we are all better for it.  I've come to appreciate just how fortunate we are, even with all the bad that has happened.   While Jason continues to have health issues stemming from all his military training, I am thankful that I have him in my life, that he is able to get up each day and go to work to provide for our family, even though he is in pain every single day.  I am thankful that he still gets down on the floor and outside and plays with the boys when all he wants to do is rest.  I am thankful that he has survived all the obstacles that have been put in is way, as by all rights, he shouldn't even be here with us...but he is h
