Happy Halloween

We're back home from our evening out trick-or-treating. The boys are sleeping peacefully in their beds and I'm heading towards mine! A few weeks ago Jack started taking Spooky Ghost with him everywhere (in preparation for Halloween, I'm sure) - out to swing in the backyard, down for breakfast, etc. A couple weeks ago we headed out to the pumpkin patch to collect our pumpkins. And of course, it rained the whole time we were there. The only day of the week we got rain, so we had to cut the trip short. How's this huge orange beast? We picked up two, one for each boy!! Today I had Ethan in his "I Love Mummy" shirt before we got dressed up for Halloween. Jack the penguin, Ethan the sock monkey, and Daddy, who is being "That Guy" - you know, the guy that you look at and go, "oh yeah, he's THAT guy!" We trick-or-treated around the neighborhood with Maddy and Oskar from next door and then spent a couple hours hanging out with them. All arou

I'm back....

Sorry I've been so bad at posting lately. We've had Grandmother's in town for the past couple weeks and I've been really busy working on filling out forms for Medicare for Ethan (the hoops the state makes you jump through....). As you can see from the photos, Jack and Ethan LOVED having all the extra attention. Granny Annie and Granny G were here for about 5 days, followed by a 6 day visit from Grandma Christy. Now we're gearing up for Halloween. We've got a costume party tomorrow with the playgroup, followed by a spooky ghost walk through the neighborhood on Halloween night. I'll post pictures from our visit to the pumpkin patch a couple weeks ago in the next day or two.

More Pics of England Trip

Back to England. I've mostly posted just pictures, as the last few days in England was spent visiting Ruins and Castles - what else do you do when you're in England? One afternoon was spent on the front lawn in front of the main hall of the timeshare playing croquet! Even today, Jack keeps asking us to buy one so we can play at home. We had great fun going on Hedgehog Hunts each night and here we found one making it's way up the hillside. Jack loved it and we even brought Ethan out to see him! We spent our last night full day in the country walking along a canal. We stopped to see the fish and watch a canal boat make it's way through a Locke. It was a beautiful sunny day spent with Nana, Uncle Jason and Auntie Jake. Trip to a castle! We got to touch all the items in the museum and here you will see Jason being beheaded with a real sword used for just such occasions in the past! Off with his head! After saying good-bye to Joss and Eddie and Jason and Adele, Mom, Dad

Buddy Walk

What a busy weekend! Yesterday (Saturday) we participated in the Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta's Buddy Walk to raise money for the group. It was so much fun! There were a ton of people there and it was great to see so many kids and their families at all different ages and abilities. The walk was around the city square (about a mile) and every kid that finished received a medal. Then there was a lunch, music and raffles. They had a bouncy for the kids and a train ride that Jack really enjoyed. Next year will be even better when Ethan can enjoy it better. Today we spent the whole afternoon looking at houses trying to decide what we want to do in this market.....
