Christmas Eve

 Jack and Wyatt had fun entertaining themselves Christmas Eve morning by layering all of Jack's clothes on Wyatt -- here is the end result!!
 We had a pretty calm day and didn't do much.  Jack wasn't feeling well and it got worse the closer to bedtime we got.  We did go for a drive to see Christmas lights before bedtime and then when we got home we got our Christmas cookies ready for Santa.


Then we got the boys to bed and the house all ready for Santa's arrival...
 
 
 Santa brought this cool Lego castle for Jack but Wyatt has had more with it then Jack, although he gets too excited and tends to break it.

 Jack made a Christmas list for Santa for the boys and left it for Santa by the cookies.  In green crayon was Santa's thank you for the cookies.
 I love the Christmas tree all filled with pretty packages and gifts for the boys before they come and open everything and destroy the look.  LOL

Having a Great Visit with Aunt Delly

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've last posted, but it's hard when you have company in town. Plus, I've been especially exhausted this past week. Jack get's so excited when we have visitors that he gets even crazier than normal! September should be fun when we have Daddy, Granny and Grandma in town. These are some pictures of Jack at gymnastics. He has gotten so much better at this club. They do a lot more strengthening stuff than the old place. Plus they have an older boys class so they don't just teach girly stuff at this age. It's been fun to see him do so well.  We have traveled around the SE for lacrosse tournaments in the past but this year we had the opportunity to travel to Denver, CO for one. I think it was one of my favorite. We tried to make it a family vacation as well, so we traveled in early the day before and spent some time exploring.  We headed down to Rock Park in Castle Rock and did a little hiking.  See that big rock in the background? Yup, the boys climbed all the way to the top. Ethan and I made it to the base of the rock while Jason, Jack and Wyatt climbed up top.  Ethan and I messing around waiting on the other boys.  Photos of the boys up top.  Our first game was an evening game, so we had most of the day to explore and get used to the altitude (which definitely got to the boys once they got on the field). Beach Days

I have impressed myself by getting these pictures posted early today by taking advantage of Ethan's nap and then Jack playing with him! Just a quick note to update everyone, today we met with Jack's preschool teacher and saw his classroom. He's very excited to start school, which I JUST now realized is NEXT Tuesday, not the Tuesday after Labor Day. Wow, it will be so strange to have him gone 3 hours, 3 days a week. But Ethan will love the one on one time and I have volunteered to be a class mom for a couple of their class parties. These are photos of our day trip to Wrightsville Beach just outside of Wilmington, NC. I really loved this area and the boys had a great time playing in the sand and water.
