Easter 2017

 I'm glad we are getting close to the end of Easter baskets - they are getting harder and harder to fill with stuff the boys actually want!  But the egg hunting will never get old!  No one wanted a group photo for mom...  But I managed to get a couple - under protest!  Then it was time to open the eggs and get the candy from inside.  These two managed to occupy themselves for awhile by re-hiding the eggs for each other over and over. A rare moment of getting along. The only one who would take a photo with me!

Spring Break at the Beach

 We escaped for a few days down to Pensacola Beach, FL to enjoy surf and sand for Spring Break. We all came home sick, but fun was had to start.  We loved the restaurants down there as they almost all had playgrounds for the kids to play on while waiting for your table or while you're eating but the kids are done.  And I loved that at two of the restaurants we ate at, there were a couple other kids with Down syndrome.   Beach time!  The water was too cold for me but all the boys loved it.  Burying Wyatt in the sand.  Burying Daddy in the sand.  Ethan sliding and Wyatt climbing on the outside of the playset - that kid is going to give me a heart attack for sure!  Ethan had far too much fun to stop and eat.  Evan Jack got up and played - he and Wyatt played tag.  Day #2 we were under a tornado watch so we got in the car and went ...
