Jack's 7th Birthday Party

This past Sunday we celebrated Jack's 7th birthday, which is actually tomorrow (September 14).  We got a big bouncy for the weekend - which Wyatt LOVED.  Jack headed straight out into the backyard once he got home from school last Friday afternoon.  He even got Ethan out there with him.  Look at that smile!  The boys had so much fun - as long as there wasn't too many people in there.  Jack and Wyatt thought it was more fun to deflate the "castle" as Wyatt called it, and walk on top of it.  Brother's laughing...  ...playing...  ...being crazy and having fun!  It was a Plant's vs. Zombies birthday themed party (video game).  The zombies are attacking the plants!!!    The candy side...  ...and the snack side.  Time to sing ... unfortunately the cupcakes were too tempting for our neighbor so I couldn't get a good picture of just Jack and hi...

Seattle Center Fun

This is my all-time favorite view of Seattle and a place I used to visit often when I lived at the bottom of this hill.  We spent one day at the Seattle Center where we met cousins.  Wyatt loved this until the fountain shot off some big burst of water and it sounded like a cannon.  After that he wouldn't take his fingers out of his ears.  Going for a walk.  Ethan actually walked all the way around the fountain.  Waiting for Robyn and her three kids to show up so we can explore and play together.  Wyatt wants to do whatever he sees Jack doing.  I loved seeing all the cousins playing together.  A beautiful sunny day to play in Seattle.  We wanted to take their picture in front of the totem pole, which you can see in the background, but the grass was all muddy and we weren't about to go trudging through it just for the sake of a photo.  And then getting them all to look a...

We Interupt Our Seattle Trip To Bring You...

Pictures of my baby!  I have really been enjoying my time with Wyatt while the two older boys are at school and just wanted to share a few photos of how he spends his day.  He reminds me so much of Jack at this age but his personality is so different.  Wyatt sure loves Jack, though.  I got him up from his nap one afternoon and he was standing in his crib pulling the blinds back, looking out the window calling, "Jack, where are you?" over and over.  It was so sweet.  Wyatt is really into reptiles these days and is a HUGE fan of all the lizards in our backyard.  He was so excited because he caught a baby lizard this past weekend. I just love this kid!
