Living in Georgia

 We enjoyed a lovely week off school last week, thanks to Spring Break.  I'll post Easter pics soon but here are just a few random photos of the boys and stuff.  This is a school shirt Ethan wore home from school the day of their fun run - isn't he cute in that gigantic shirt?  His bus driver told me that she got the privilege of walking with Ethan around the track and that she loved it.  I'm so glad that everyone seems to enjoy his company so much.  I guess it's true that kids reserve their bad behavior for outside the home.  I don't mind that so much if it means they behave themselves in public, as my biggest accomplishment as their mother is to teach them manners.  Can you see Wyatt and Stanley back there along the fence?  Wyatt reminds me so much of Jack at that age.  They both love(d) to just go for walks in the wooded yard.  Of course, this backyard is much more treacherous than our last one, and Wyatt loves to walk...

 The bee's have arrived.  Yes, you heard me correctly.  Last year, Jason decided he wanted to raise honeybee's.  At first I was a bit skeptical but after thinking about it I realized it was a great idea.   Honeybee's were becoming a bit extinct so I thought it was good to do our part to help them out, as they are so important to the environment.  The boys really seem to enjoy them and have learned to just ignore them so they will ignore us back.  Of course, out of all the boys, it's Wyatt that needs to get the closest and cause the most trouble!  But he seems to understand and walks around the backyard calling out "bee" whenever he sees one.  My beekeeper honey!  Getting ready to put them in their new home.  Looking for the queen bee (other than myself, of course!).  There she is!  The first group went in without a hitch.  The second set were not as friendly....

 When I was younger and dreamed about having a family, I always imagined all the fun things I would do with my kids and the exciting adventures we would go on, especially during the summer months.  I always loved summer vacation as a child and my mom always had fun things for us to do and experience.  And it started out that way for us when it was just Jack at first and then when Ethan was a baby.  We had all kinds of great outings to amusement parks, the zoo, berry picking, playdates and cookouts with friends, etc. But then Ethan got a little bit older.  The up's were he was finally walking!  Finally feeding himself!!  Finally communicating!!!  The down's were he would only walk when he wanted to and often times would just stop half way to where we were going and not budge.  Or he would throw a fit at a restaurant and not eat anything, or throw things off the table.  Mostly it's not listening and following my direction. ...

 Hope you all had a nice St. Patrick's Day.  We didn't do anything exciting to celebrate, in fact, I didn't even decorate for it this year.  We have been so hot here lately (in the 80s until yesterday) that it felt like we had skipped Spring altogether and moved right into Summer.  So I focused more attention on playing outside with the boys.  But the silly leprechaun did visit us while the boys were playing and left them a Shamrock with some gold coins tucked inside.  Jack found the plant and coins at dinnertime!  Wyatt is always shooting something!  Even though Jack and Wyatt like to shoot things together, I'm so happy that Ethan and Wyatt still enjoying playing together too!  I've been in the (sad) process of transforming Wyatt's room from nursery to toddler room.  We've decided not to repaint (too much effort and I really like the green room, especially since both Jack and Ethan have blue rooms) and have foun...
