Snow Day 2011

I had planned to do a New Year's post but Wyatt has been suffering from a double ear infection for the past three weeks and he is just now starting to feel better and sleep through the night. I've been exhausted and barely making it through the day. But, now we're on our second round of antibiotics that seem to be working and I'm starting to feel human again. It's amazing what lack of sleep will do to you! Last night we got about 6 inches of snow followed by freezing rain this morning, so we are enjoying a snow day, which has turned into another one for tomorrow (schools closed). We enjoyed spending the morning outside playing with the neighborhood. Have I said lately how much I love our neighborhood and our neighbors? I am so happy that we moved here! Our "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" Christmas!

This picture of Ethan seems to be our theme of the holidays - starting with Thanksgiving and going through Christmas, Ethan falling asleep late in the day and sleeping through dinner. It has been a busy season, and I for one am so happy to be starting a fresh, new year! We kicked off the Christmas season with Jack's preschool holiday party. Well, actually we started the night before with his Christmas Program but I forgot the camera, so we'll just start here. It was fun to meet all Jack's new friends and watch them enjoy themselves. It was fun having Daddy and Wyatt join us this year. And, of course, Ethan had a blast and made himself known in the classroom. I can't wait for him to start preschool later this month!
