Easter Weekend with Daddy - Part 2

I still have more Easter pics to add but I'm being pressured to post what I've got so far!! This is from the Baptist Church where Jack goes to preschool. It was huge and very well run. We all had a blast. They had big bouncies, a slide (the shark shown here), lots of crafts and egg hunts every 15 minutes divided up by age group. We ran into a few friends and one of Jack's teachers, so he was very happy! Ethan was just so cute in these photos that I couldn't help but post them all. We finally have Jason's neck surgery scheduled for Tuesday, May 25th up at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington, DC. It will be an interesting trip to get us all up there with a newborn. Luckily, Mom will be here to travel up with us and help keep the boys occupied while Jason goes through the surgery. Then Christy will hopefully join us there and drive back to Atlanta with us, while Mom flies home.

Easter Weekend with Daddy - Part 1

Whew, what a weekend! It was a fun filled four days with Daddy and I have over a 100 pictures to post, so I'm breaking it up. We spent Saturday at two Easter Egg hunts but I'll save those for the next post (even though I couldn't resist this photo of Ethan). Ethan had Elmo as a bunny basket and Jack had (surprise, surprise) a Star Wars Storm Trooper basket. Easter morning Jack came downstairs and was surprised to find that the bunny hid the eggs inside instead of outside. But with two egg hunts outside the day before "the Easter Bunny" didn't want to hide them outside again. Ethan enjoyed finding his Easter Basket and then trying to immediately throw it all off the ottoman!! Ethan played with Daddy while Jack hunted for eggs around the house. Jack got lots of Star Wars toys for E...

Preparing for Easter

It's been a rough couple of days for me but I think I'm past the worst of it. I think it was just a 24 hour bug but I was almost convinced that I was in early labor. But I'm feeling pretty good today (of course the 80 degree day helped!) - just trying to take it easy and put my feet up as much as possible. It's hard with having to carry Ethan around everywhere, but I'm trying. And Jason is coming home tomorrow for a four day weekend, so that will help! The photos above are of how Ethan likes to lay on the floor these days -- to watch TV and to play. I think it's the cutest thing ever!! Today was Jack's Easter party at school. They had an Easter Egg Hunt before the party and then the parents showed up for the actual party. Ethan crawled right over to Jack and of course, Jack was happy as a clam that Ethan was there. After they ate they all said a prayer in sign language... and then sang a song! Ethan enjoyed the show -- this time he didn't try to d...
