Having Trouble

Sorry there haven't been any posts in a while. We seem to be having trouble with Comcast. Our uploading speed is so slow I can't get any pictures onto the blog. I'm working on it and hope to have an up-to-date blog soon! Thanks for your patience.

Busy Week

What a week! Thursday Ethan had a follow up appointment with the pulmonologist and got a clean bill of health!! He said everything looked and sounded just fine so now we only need to see him if a problem develops. Then Friday Ethan had a regular baby well check with his pediatrician and is weighing in at 18 pounds, 9 ounces and 26 inches long. After the doctor's appointment we rushed out to a birthday party at the rollar rink. I haven't been in one of those for years but the one by our house offers a time for little ones to either ride their trikes or push toys. A great place for a birthday party! Then we had to go buy a new TV as our old one (of only 2+ years) died on us. So, in the space of a couple weeks, we've had to replace our camera and our TV - not cheap items. And we're also looking to buy a 8 passenger car sometime after Christmas. Thank goodness we are living debt free - makes it so much easier to deal with these high end replacement items. Saturday we...

New Camera - New Photos

We haven't figured out the old camera issues yet but we did get a new camera!!! Merry Christmas Cornwell's. It's a great camera that takes about 3 picture's per second so it's going to be harder to post pictures as I'll have so many more to choose from. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. We had a great time and hosted our Canadian friends, Amanda, Chase and Hadley. Daddy was flying for work. The meal was delicious and the kids were a riot! Jack and Chase took a while to get into a groove but before long they were bouncing off the walls. Luckily, Ethan and Hadley were laid back! The boys sat at the kid table, which they had been climbing up on and then jumping off of until I stopped them. Boy, this is only 3 years old. Wait until they get older.... Let's eat! Mommy's snuggle bunny! Jack's new favorite thing these days is to play outside with the neighbor boys. This past weekend he spent a lot of time playing with Oskar - football in the ...

Home from the Beach

We made it home tonight after a long drive home....with a stop in Macon, GA to visit the BassPro Shop!! It gave us a couple hours to feed Ethan and let Jack get his wiggles out. We bought the boys stuffed fish and Jack was so excited to get it that he put it in pj's and took him to bed tonight (after naming his Fishy Swim). As you can see there are no photo's posted. This is due to a camera accident at the beach. We managed to drop the camera and must have gotten sand in there somewhere. We could take pictures at first, but then only Jason could get it to work. I went to download the past several days worth of photos only to find a formatting error notice flashing on the camera screen. I already missed a ton of good pictures of Jason on the beach with the boys and now if I can't even download the ones I have on my camera I'm going to be very upset. Jason said he'd take a look tomorrow and hopefully I can get to them. Then we're heading out to buy a new ...

Fun and Sun at the Beach

What a busy few days we've had doing basically nothing!! The weather has been so nice lately that we've mainly spent time at the beach. Yesterday Jack and Nana built lots of sandcastles up and down the beach - there must have been half a dozen or more - each one with a flag (sticks) or two in them and a moat. He had a blast. Ethan wasn't too sure of the beach andcean the first time he was on it. He became very clingy and didn't want to be sat down on the blanket. Every time I did, he would turn himself around and reach out for me. Then, when holding him, if you tried to turn him around to look out, he would turn around and cling on to me and Nana. I think it was a bit to loud with the waves crashing onto the beach and a bit too windy. Today he did much better! Last night, Friday, was very exciting for us as they had a Space Shuttle launch at 7:55p. The weather was really clear and we could actually see it from our beachfront timeshare. We gathered around the TV ...

Daytona Beach, Florida

We had a very successful trip down in the car from Atlanta to Daytona Beach on Tuesday. We left around 9:30a and arrived about 7:30p. We had 4 stops, two of which were quick gas and bathroom stops. Here we stopped just over the boarder of Florida and had some fresh Florida orange juice. Jack loved it! We spent about an hour here letting Jack run around and get his wiggles out, which gave me a chance to feed Ethan and let him roll around on the grass and get his wiggles out, too!! It was dark when we arrived, but we still had to check out the ocean. Jack wasn't quite sure what to make of it but since we've now seen it in the daytime, we go out each night and say goodnight to the ocean. While we are on vacation, as you can see, I'm still busy checking out my coupons! I can't go to the grocery store without first checking what's on sale and how I can get the best deal. It's much harder to do when you're picking foods to eat for a two week trip, as oppose...
